We had a late dinner here after a long day of skiing. Really like that its family owned. David, the owner, has an encyclopedic knowledge of how his food is sourced and prepared. You can’t beat the views and even though it was night time I like watching the dogs run around and play outside of the restaurant. I recommend trying their baby back ribs. Their apple pie and vanilla ice cream hit the spot. Would come back again!

My wife and I stopped in on our way from glenwood springs to Denver. GLAD WE DID!!.. fantastic place with a stunning view of the slopes at cooper mountain… the owner treated us as if we knew each other for years. Very friendly and helpful… we felt right at home and the food was phenomenal… try the ribs and make sure to get the smoked trout as an appetizer. He also has a maple beer on tap that is killer….We will be back for sure and recommend you make the trip … if your reading this review you can trust it… my wife and I are very particular about our food and drink as well as the atmosphere and this was top notch . You won’t be disappointed…

Dave was amazing and so was the food! What a warm and inviting place. We had a party of 8 and he was amazing! Dave has never met a stranger. The food was wonderful! I had the salmon with capers and it was DELISH!!!!! Can’t say enough great things about this establishment!

Great place to eat. It was in the same building as the room we were staying in (Foxpine Inn), and it was getting late, so we decided to eat here. Owner went around and greeted all the tables (even though the place was mostly empty; only about 3 other groups there). Food was great, especially the ribs. However, they don’t have much meat on them. Selection of beers is good. If you’re staying in East Village and conflicting on what to eat, this is a great place to choose.

Wouldn’t go there. Guy was super unprofessional and acted like we were inconveniencing him by being there. He had the place closed for a private party but there were absolutely no signs saying so and was super rude when asking why we were there! Then proceeded to tell us that we shouldn’t expect service right away or efficiently since he was dealing with the big party and that he was allowing us to come in… well he could have told us they were closed and to come back later! On top of that the food was not great I got the chicken marsala… eh! Probably won’t be trying it again.

Been closed every time I’ve tried to go. Either afternoon or later at night for dinner. I tried calling 3 times right during dinner when you’d expect someone to be there. No answer twice, and on the third try around 8pm someone picked up and just left the phone off the hook. I could hear what sounded like employees in the background talking and screwing off, but no one said anything. I hung up after about 45 seconds. Pretty lame and unprofessional place, won’t try again the rest of the week.

My favorite place to hang out any time I’m at Copper. Great for a quite meal, local beers on tap, and the staff and owner make you feel like family. Never had anything off the menu that I didn’t enjoy!

Excellent and excellent food… The owner David has been taking care of all the ski camps breakfast lunch and dinner…we look forward to when he opens for the public after camps… miss the ribs and best pizza on the mountain…We have been patrons since 1995…..cant wait to see you David and the DD staff….
