Wow, this was THE BEST ice cream and food I’ve had in a long time. I got a turtle sundae that was huge even though it was a size small. Also homemade chicken biscuits were amazing and mashed potatoes were also real not instant. Absolutely excellent. Also only paid $15 for all of that !

We walked here after having dinner at a local restaurant. There were many choices of hand scoop or soft-serve ice cream. We had sundaes and they were good. We sat outside so I don’t know what the inside is like.it was nothing super special but nothing bad either.

Dottie Haggerty’s ice cream and more is a great place to eat with very reasonable prices. The first time I ever ate, there was one in Franklin for the fish dinner and next time my husband and I said we’ll just split one because that is how much you get for your money… Today is June 15 and all I wanted with some onion rings and they were very good!!! Thank you, Dottie for opening up in Oil City… We needed a place like this! God bless you!

Sorry excuse for a milkshake. Literally just milk in a coffee cup flavored with SIMPLE SYRUP. Tastes like straight chemicals. Pricing is not easy to find at first because of where it’s placed. And I didn’t even get my change back. If I could give it zero, I would.

So I’m going to be very honest and blunt.
So my grandparents took me out for ice cream after church. We got 3 twisted cones. All 3 of us got the same and we agreed it had a funny taste and didn’t taste right. So my grandmother walked up to the manager and she politely told her what the issue was. She ignored her until my grandmother said something again. The manager flat out said that’s awesome. No hey can I get you something else or can I make you a new one nothing. Now at this point my grandfather and I are pissed off now because he just spent money on ice cream he threw away and how she treated my grandmother. Poor management and poor customer service.

Me and my friend went out to get ice cream, we were gonna go to Max snacks but they were closed so instead we went to dotty haggertys and id never had it, I Clearfield this to my friend, so we gave it a try we went up to get our orders and the person taking our order barely talked to us, didn’t give us back our change which is technically illegal, our milkshake were just straight milk. I’d never go back here again.

I’ve had excellent food every time I’ve been here except on one occasion. They close at 8 and we ordered mini tacos and fried veggies at about 7:30pm. The mini tacos were good, but the veggies were lumped together in a mush ball. Some were still cold. I don’t think the oil was hot enough. Plus the lady that took our order seemed very stressed out and irritated. Make sure you get there earlier in the day, and not before closing. As I said, I’ve had wonderful experiences every time except this last time.
