This place has been an ice-cream stand since I was a kid. Not going to say how long ago that was but think “a long time!” It’s like it is frozen in time which is great. They have over 40 flavors and have hand scooped and soft serve, old fashion milk shakes and floats as well as banana splits! I love this place as much for the nostalgia as I do for the ice-cream.

Made a quick stop from our way back Mount Mitchell and big banner which says 24 flavors of soft serve was enough to stop us and we wanted to try it. Love the variety they have and how its not too sweet as compare to other soft serve ice cream. Even my Parents in law tried it when we told them its less sugary. The best part is its cost friendly. Would love to stop by next time and try other flavors.

Small, no frills ice cream joint featuring 24 flavors of soft serve and about 20 flavors of hand dipped ice cream. Shakes, malts, and anything else dairy related are also available. Servings are on the small side, but prices were reasonable. Outdoor seating only and no bathrooms. Super happy to find this after a drive and hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

A local place around the corner from an RV park we were visiting. They have SO MANY flavors of soft serve and also normal ice cream, and 3 types of cones. The flavors were great, but make sure to bring cash. They also don’t have any seating, so hanging around isn’t really a thing – not a social spot. It appears locals love this place, since so many came by while we were there. I wish I could recommend a flavor but there are so many good ones it’s a roll of the dice! Try it!

Love this place! It was my mom’s very first job and has been a huge part of the community for a very long time. They have amazing ice cream, hot fudge cake and banana splits!! I don’t think I’ve tried anything from here that I don’t like. If you’re in the area you should stop in and grab some amazing ice cream! They’re always super friendly here too! Also love the key lime pie ice cream. I could live off of it.
