Did I just wake into a Chipotle? Mexican grills alway have the same menu doesn’t matter how you spin it, having spicy chicken offering doesn’t make anything stand out, unless you are Velvet Taco but that comes with a different price tag. This is about the same as Chipotle and Burritos Beach in terms of price, service and flavors. As long as the ingredients are fresh that is all it matters. I did find the brown rice to be a little better here though. Since I am a 2 minute walk from Chipotle I am sticking with it, or Burritos Beach if I want to sit outside. It is just about location, this place is solid if you are close by. I still don’t know how Mayan Taco sells it 25% higher than anyone else, maybe that is why I never see a lot of people in there new location on Ohio, it is the same food!

The food is really terrific here. We have had the tacos, burritos and quesadillas — all excellent and made with fresh well-prepared ingredients.
And topped by fast and friendly service. It is also encouraging to see a new establishment open in the midst of this never-ending pandemic. This in light of the fact that many Chicago restaurants have closed permanently.
My only suggestion would be that they use a thicker shell for the burritos — with all the ingredients they stuff in them they fall apart easily.

Food is good. Spices / flavors are more authentic to actual Mexican food prices are few bucks more than chipotle. Nachos cheese is a bit “velveeta-ey”. But they have actual corn tortillas for tacos

Short version: Just go to Chipotle lol
Long version: I went here to give it a chance, hoping I could find a place that’s “Like Chipotle, but better!” but this place is unfortunately worse in almost every way.
If you get a burrito, know they don’t make their own tortillas like Chipotle does; they use those crappy Mission brand tortillas you can find at the grocery store. Way too doughy, and thick. Filling-wise, they have basically everything Chipotle does, but the quality just seems straight up worse. I wish I could claim they at least gave better portions, because Chipotle has been more stingy with portions lately, but the portions here seem more or less the exact same. And even after Chipotle’s price raises, this place is still somehow SLIGHTLY more expensive. Oh, and they’re saving money by using Pepsi instead of Coke products lol. Again, just go to Chipotle

Yummy and fresh “build your own” dishes Vegan friendly too- you can sub cheese for beans and still have a delicious quesadilla The guac was well flavored (didn’t taste like just avocados- not that there is anything wrong with that lol). The chips were thick and crispy and the verde salsa had a mild kick that wasn’t overly spicy.
Personally I think Dos Bros is more flavorful than Chipotle (since other reviews are comparing the two), and I like how they are supporting the local community with Spirit Night (30% of Spirit Night sales are donated to the host’s approved org of choice). Very generous!

Ordered Barbacoa bowl ($9.99) and added chips+drink ($3.75) total came to $17.90 … I questioned the math as it should have been $14.83 after tax. He said it was more expensive because the price is supposed to be for a fountain drink and he was giving me a 20oz bottle. I wanted a fountain drink but they don’t even have a fountain machine. Food is basically the exact same as Chipotle but 20% less in the bowl and 20% more expensive. Finished my entire bowl and I’m still hungry. Usually have extra at Chipotle. The quality of the food was good though.

Food was 5 stars, wayyy better than the quality you get at most chipotles nowadays and they have custom hot sauces that have a serious kick aside from quality salsa and other core burrito ingredients. Overall a win and will be eating more often.
