We came here for a late lunch. Ordered the paneer taco dosa. They were delicious. I also ordered a chetni pudi dosa – it was spicy but delicious. My husband felt adventurous and got a guava cake – it was below avg and had zero taste of guava. Would recommend the dosas here however.

From the food to the service, Dosa & Chaat is a place to try! The service and recommendations that the owner Mr. Gopi and his team gave was exceptional. Our servers checked in on us and also asked what type of spice levels we preferred for our orders which was really nice. We ordered the Hakka noodles with shrimp, garlic naan, saag paneer, and the machuran dish I believe- we chose fried fish as our protein. The new spring guava soda is also an added plus to the menu! Add this restaurant to your list and you won’t regret it! Next door connected is also a bakery (Hot Breads) that have a wide array of vegan cakes and goodies. The food was so good we didn’t get to take full photos

Love the food. Yum! We stumbled on this place at random and were so pleased with the dosa and cauliflower. It’s a hidden gem, better than all the “classic” south Indian places around. Sambar reminds me of someone’s grandma’s.

OMG, OMG, OMG! I haven’t been this happy with a food delivery order in years! We ordered through GrubHub.
I’m a potato fanatic, so all three dishes I ordered contained potatoes. Masala Dosa, Vada Pav, and Saag Aloo. You can choose your level of spiciness on the Saag Aloo – I went with “American” and honestly probably could’ve gone up by 1, but have friends who would’ve found the American level spiciness just right for their pallets. The flavors were spot on and the dosa was apply filled, unlike some other places I’ve been where it’s just a smear of basically flavorful mashed potatoes. These were lumpy and and oh so good! The Dosa came with three difference sauces/chutney (see photos).
This is the first time I’ve ever had Vada Pav. I thought I was the only person who puts cilantro chutney in their sandwiches…didn’t know it was thing. I totally thought I made that up. These little potato … … sliders (?)… … we’re just in flavor, consistency and pure joy. I have no reference for what these *should* taste like but if it’s anything different than this, I don’t want it!
Finally, the Saag Aloo is a dish I’ve had at nearly every restaurant. What was different here was the potatoes were a nice size and not cut into tiny cubes which made for a nice balance of flavor.
All the food arrived piping hot despite traveling from the Kentlands down to near MacArthur Blvd in Cabin John, MD. A testament to both the delivery driver and the restaurant handing the driver a nice hot dish.

We recently placed a catering order with Dosa and Chaat in Kentlands for mutton curry, chili shrimp, and paneer butter masala—and everything was fantastic! The chef was professional, responsive, and happily customized the flavors to our preferences. The quality and taste of each dish were great and highly appreciated by our guests. We’ll definitely be ordering from them again!

The absolutely best Indo-Chines Indian food in Gaithersburg, especially for glutten free vegans. The cauliflower Gobi Manchurian, the tacos and the chains masala are the best. I LOVE their vegan food! I am a regular!!!

A decent, usual Indian restaurant- both south and North Indian type dishes available. The tea was excellent- typical Indian masala
Tea with milk, with a hint of saffron and cardamom. The hot tea in chilly weather was just perfect. We got a masala dosa which was served with sambar and two types of chutneys. The white chutney (it was not made with coconut, I believe) was very subtle on palette and comforting. It reminded me my childhood soda experience back in India ( Kolkata). The Dosa, tomato chutney and the sambar were decent too. I ordered some chicken Hakka noodles and chilli chicken. The noodles were too good with a Smokey aroma coming from the seasoned wok. The chilli chicken was not actually chilli chicken ( usually chilli chicken should be blackish from dark soy sauce) , however the crispy spicy red coloured chicken was good though. Overall, a pretty decent place. The place was quite packed and the service was decent too.

Authentic and best dosas in the area. Great selection of north and south Indian dishes. Portion sizes are generous whether you’re having chaat for tea time or want a real meal. The tea is on point as well – so delicious and not too sweet. Make sure to get the uttappam if you have room. Parking is free and fairly easy to find a space. They also have a few outdoor tables for when the weather is pleasant.

Absolutely fantastic! The food is bursting with authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and perfect seasoning. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection and packed with taste. The takeout service is just as impressive—fast, well-packaged, and still piping hot when it arrives. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly cares about customer satisfaction. This place is definitely a go-to for Indian cuisine, whether we’re dining in or enjoying it at home. Highly recommend!
