Wonderful local family owned Mexican joint that has recently changed their menu and that I’ve never had a bad meal at. Their green salsa (verde) is killer. Make sure you ask for the bottle of it and their homemade hot sauce with your meal.
Chips and salsa comes out when you sit down and you can ask for refills. The chips are thin and delicious (which can also be said about everything on the menu). The margaritas are fantastic and always a must-get, either frozen or on the rocks.
The best item on the menu by far is the Molcajate Puebla. It’s the smorgasbord of meat (chicken, chorizo, steak, and shrimp) cooked with cactus and zucchini in green verde salsa and served sizzling hot in the stone vessel, topped with cheese. Perfectly seasoned, spicy without being too spicy, and you can definitely make three meals out of it!
Most similar places have a singular meat or preparation that you have to have. That’s not the case here. It’s all good. Just get what you’re feeling like eating. The rice and beans are also solid (there’s also now black beans and cilantro rice as well).

I love their Pollo con queso! I ordered it tonight and there was a mistake. Minutes after I reached out, the manager had it correctly made and was delivering it to my house! He even added a sweet treat as a bonus! He was so kind when he dropped off my food. Great service and the food was delicious

My company was having a military send off party for one of our team members who LOVES their food truck. So I asked about their catering options, and they were so helpful and accommodating. The process was easy and everyone was friendly. The price was very reasonable, and the amount of food provided far exceeded our expectations.
The catering was pick up only, which was super fair considering all the stuff I had to pack into my car. Pickup was easy and they helped me load everything. While I waited inside, I saw a bit of the interior and it looks like a cute and cozy place to eat-in. I’m thinking of bringing some friends over someday.
So for the food:
We got a burrito bar.
The tortillas are HUGE which was awesome. They also gave us some tostada/taco salad bowls which were so perfectly crunchy and thick enough not to fall apart easily. Those and the tortilla chips were super tasty. I didn’t even know I could have a favorite chip, but these are for sure the best chips and salsa haha
We got steak and chorizo which were both seasoned so well. The chorizo was the perfect amount of spice for me, but even those on my team who aren’t great with spice loved the taste so much that they went back for seconds.
We had almost every topping you could think of and the perfect amount of each. Except we only made it through 1 of the 2 pans of beans lol
And you know how you will usually get a bag of chips and salsa that might let everyone have a tiny handful each? They gave us a huge bag that could have all 20 people filled up on chips alone.
The churros? Dude. Just get some of those churros. You will not regret it. Even after driving 20min back to work, they were warm and soft and so flavorful. A lot of us ate 1 or 2 of those before even touching the bar.
I have never seen my team so excited about one of our lunches! So many of them said this was their favorite and asked me to order again for the next event. Everyone was asking about the restaurant too so they could check it out on their own. I feel guilty that I’m receiving so much praise just for ordering it when it was the restaurant who did all this amazing work.
I’m just so happy that everyone enjoyed the food, I can’t reiterate enough how kind, friendly, and thoughtful the workers at Dos Sabores/5demayo are.
The best Mexican food I’ve found in Columbus area in the nearly 5 years I’ve been here. Looking forward to our next visit 🙂

My wife and I came here on a Fri night and it wasn’t too busy. I had the Choripollo plate which was very good and filling, just wish they served homemade flour tortillas. She really enjoyed her Chicken enchiladas in a tomatillo/queso sauce. I only have a few of their menu pages as well as their homage to Día de los Muertos. We will definitely be back soon.

Had our Holiday Party catered and food was delicious!!! Chicken & Steak Fajitas and all the fixings along with Tamales, Chips, Guacamole, and Queso. The Churros were a fantastic way to end the meal even though we were all stuffed : )

First time here and def returning . I really like how friendly the staff is . I love that they have a mini market. I stalked up on Atole

The service was ok – it was akward because we were the only folks in the restaurant but we made the best of it. The Margaritas were good and on a happy hour special. The cheese dip was also on the happy hour special but really was not not that large of a portion but it was good. The waitress recommend we try a flat open taco that a can’t remember what it was called but they were very good also. The experience was good but not the memorable. It is worth a stop by…
