We celebrated my sister’s life with a repast luncheon here. Victor the owner closed the restaurant and provided a beautiful setup for us, family style. The ability to walk around and share stories of her life with family and friends will stay in my heart forever. Food was delicious and service was top notch.

I had the chilaquiles in salsa verde with steak and eggs. I was born and raised in Mexico and let me tell you that my breakfast didn’t not disappoint, as soon as I taste the beans I knew it was going to be delish and it was. Horrible service. Waitress doesnt know english so not sure why shes the waitress. She got mad at me because she couldnt understand me and was rude. The food wasnt hot. The rice was old. Disgusting. Very disappointing especially for the price. Then she was mopping next to customers. Wont be back.

Cute restaurant! They serve American & Mexican food. I had the torta de milanesa dinner (breaded beef sandwich) which was very delicious. Their cucumber lemon flavored water was also amazing. Great customer service. Very clean as well.

The food here is so good. I love the mix of American and Mexican food. Staff is great! Heck even the pancakes are awesome or one of the skillets! Definitely stop in and try it. Price is a pretty good value.

Waited almost 30 mins for a waiter to come to the table to order. Waiter only wanted to take our drink order before we got worried they would not come back we ended up order the food in a rush. Waiting almost 45 minutes before we decided to take our 6 person group to sunrise. Absolutely disgusting treatment when we asked what had happened. Waiter told us they did even know why the food was still not made. Worst experience for our first time going to a recommended place. Do not recommend this place. As quaint and nice as the atmosphere was the people and service was shitty. Honestly felt like they were being a little racist towards us as mexican family. They also over charged us for drink. Who charges almost 15$ for 6 drinks. 1 water, 3 hamiacas, and 1 pepsi, and 1 raspberry ice tea.

Finally! I’ve been here for 16 years from the Chi and I’ve found a joint that makes a not only decent, but Very Good plate of Nachos!!! Steak…thank you very much! (I love you, Purple Steer, but I’ve been asking you to drain the grease off them Beef Nachos for years. Still love ya, tho!) No pics…sorry, that ish is gone!!!
