This place is a total gem! I can hardly believe it’s a Binghamton spot! Great atmosphere and decor, and delicious food! I had the spicy cauliflower Dos Rios tacos and they were some of the best vegetarian tacos I’ve ever had! A good amount of spice for upstate NY too The margarita was good, nothing to write home about, but they also had this Earl grey infused warm horchata beverage that was delicious and totally hit the spot on a cold night! I was only passing through town but would be a regular here otherwise.

The food was good, it was very busy and upbeat, but it was way too loud to have conversation. Waitresses were busting their butts and doing a fantastic job! Biggest downfall was the food was quite pricey for what you got in my opinion.

Excellent Mexican restaurant with lots of delicious tequila and Mexican food! Love the day of the dead ambiance. The staff are the best too!

One of the best Mexican food restaurants I have dined at. The table started with homemade guacamole and mexi-fries. I had the chicken enchiladas served in a skillet. The flavors were top shelf. We were seated at a high table, not my preference, they have quite a few of them. If you don’t like high tables you might want to let them know when you arrive that you prefer a lower table. Wait staff was excellent. I would definitely come here again.

My family and I were denied service even though the restaurant was mostly empty. I felt so terrible because we searched for a Latino restaurant and drove there. When we arrived, the hostess’ blue eyes widened, she made a shocked face, and told us to give her a minute. She then came back and said they had no space for our group, which consisted of 9 adults and 3 kids. I asked if we could sit in the empty outdoor dining area and the hostess stated we could not because they had a lot of reservations coming in. Overall, I would say this place is racist, which is sad because it’s a “Mexican” restaurant.

Fast Friendly and welcoming. I got chips and quac and salsa,. All yummy.
The largest tequila selection I have Weber seen anywhere.
It is worth a still for a drink and appetizers.

Food and atmosphere are fantastic! They have an inspired food menu featuring more conventional choices as well as modern takes on traditional dishes. Everything is very flavourful. Stepping inside is like stepping into another world with their decorations and Día de los Muertos-themed mural. The only thing to be cautious about is that they don’t do a great job separating people who are there to drink and people who are there to dine, and things around the bar tend to get rather loud with no effort being made to keep things under control.

Ambiance and service (+2)
We were a large party our table agreed that the ambience at Dos Rios Cantina is one to remember.
Food taste (+1)
However, the food was pretty average and a bit tasteless. I see good selection but poorly cooked food (e.g., rice). The giant birthday margarita for my colleague was a nice touch.
Next time, let’s get the uncensored version of the 50 cent song.

Taco Tuesday is a great time to try this place. $5 for street tacos and $3 pints of Dos equis. The atmosphere is lively and it is a youngish crowd. Good attentive service. Definately a place to try in Binghamton.
