Heading back to St. Louis on a road trip, and we were on the lookout for a dinner spot. Stopped in on a whim, because when isn’t Mexican food a good idea? (The answer is never). We were seated right away and the staff were friendly. Service was quick, and the menu had a good amount of variety. So much so that it was hard to pick what to order. We enjoyed complimentary chips and salsa while we looked over the menu and made our selections. After we ordered, it was just a short time before our food was ready. It came out piping hot, and very tasty. We didn’t feel rushed to eat our food so that they could seat another couple, but they seemed decently busy, which is always a good sign. We’ll certainly keep it in mind as a dining option in the future if we have another road trip that brings us to the area.

So the food is amazing, the portions great and good service. The only reason I give it three stars is that it’s pricey and I was highly turned off my last visit when they added a large tip to my bill that I did not authorize.

I’ve been coming here since the place opened, which had to have been back around 2002-3. It’s great tex mex food, and one of the best restaurants in town. The food comes out pretty quick, and they can easily serve parties of 8+. If you’re looking for a place to stop for lunch or dinner in Potosi, this is a solid option.

Biggest Margarita I have ever seen! And tasty as well. Had the shrimp la creama and it was wonderful! Service was good and the folks serving me were very friendly. Definitely a must visit in Potosi Mo.

Always have a great experience when dining in. Our most recent visit, we had Mario’s quesadilla, 1-person steak fajitas, and chicken quesadilla. All was hot and fresh. Quick preparation, I think we only had to wait 10 minutes for food to arrive. Super delicious. Highly recommend if in the area. You won’t be disappointed. The portions are generous and I don’t really have complaints. (It is often cooler in there, so if you get cold easy might want a light jacket)
10 out of 10 will be back.

Hands down this is the BEST Mexican food in the whole ENITIRE universe!!! The price doesn’t even come close to how much they SHOULD charge!! It’s such big portions that my husband, my girlfriend, and I … We all share the same platter and still take home a doggie bag! And even tho there chips and salsa is the best I ever had we don’t start eating those till we get our food! And like I said we still take some home!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ONLY THIS MEXICAN FOOD NATION WIDE!! I also have a friend who is a vegetarian so they will make her anything upon request she wanted only veggies with white cheese and a whole order at that but not only did they make it they didn’t even charge that much!!! I love this place it my all around go to any day any time
