Never disappointed! Food is always good, hot and served with a smile. We are new to the area and have visited Dos Ovejas several times and each time has been wonderful. Takeout is well packaged, and serving size is always plentiful. This is a family owned restaurant that does it right!!!

If I could give this business a negative star I would. Absolutely horrible. I tried to do a take out order over the phone and someone answered but than was talking to people around them instead of me so I decided to go place my order inside the restaurant. I walked in and placed my order for 2 chimichanga plates, one with no sour cream and no pico and one with no beans extra rice. Pretty simple. Than I ordered a taco salad with only meat and cheese because my autistic child will only eat the meat and cheese and I told them I wanted ground beef. The chimichanga plates on the menu say 10.99 each. And the taco salad I do believe 11.99. and than my son got a coke which was 3.50. so that should bring my total to 37.47 before tax. When I got up to pay the total came to 53.45. How does 3 meals come to that amount when the prices are on the menu? Paid for it and took my food home. When I got home my taco salad had everything on it and there was ground pork instead of ground beef. Mind you they took my order 3 or 4 different times before they made it. Absolutely ridiculous and I will never in a million years ever go back. I will stick to the good fair priced Mexican food in Emory or Greenville.

I placed a takeout order over the phone and was told the wait would be 17 minutes. I arrived after 20, only to sit in the empty restaurant for another 25 minutes. There wasn’t another soul in the place except for the cook and the register girl, who told me they were “waiting on one more dish” before disappearing completely. I sat there alone wondering could possibly take an hour when no one else was ordering.
When I finally got the food home, I literally teared up (and not in a good way). I had been craving Mexican food all day, genuinely excited to support a local spot. The chicken was so overcooked we had to rip it apart with our hands because forks couldn’t cut through it. The nachos were swimming in grease, topped with a handful of cheese and microwaved into a rubbery mess. The taco salad shell was soaked through with oil and practically collapsed under its own weight.
I tried to call the restaurant a full ten times to address it, but no one answered. Finally, I drove back only to find the doors locked and the place abruptly closed. I went home, waited, and called later that evening. When I finally got someone on the phone, the young woman said she’d refund me. Great! I was fully prepared to let it go and not post a review.
When my husband and I came back for the refund, the cook burst out of the kitchen yelling at me in Spanish. When I said “Pardon me?” because I don’t speak Spanish, she refused to repeat herself This woman just stood there glaring at us for the rest of our visit. I asked the girl at the counter what was said, but it was obvious her “translation” didn’t capture the true sentiment. The entire thing was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and downright hostile.
I can absolutely see why that woman stays in the back. She has zero customer service skills and a serious attitude problem. Between the inedible food, the hour-long wait, the unanswered calls, and the yelling, this place is a total disaster.
I genuinely wanted to support a local business, but Dos Ovejas made that impossible.
The last positive review this restaurant received was months ago, and after my experience, I know exactly why.

Although easily accessible and right of the highway, it’s quite tucked away. Nevertheless, they had good service and great food. I love supporting small and local companies and this was one of those.
The waiter, who I found out later is the owner’s daughter, did a great job. Not knowing beforehand that she was the owner’s daughter was good because it allowed me to make a neutral judgement.
It’s a cozy place. I eat tilapia wherever it’s available and they had one on the menu. It was great and very comparable to others I’ve had. This is a great place with great food ❤

Clean, friendly, and great service. I love the fajitas and nachos. They make flour tortillas fresh daily. I can’t imagine getting better than what we ate.

Unfortunately, the flavor is not there at all. Very bland, and meat tastes cheap. The grease is probably over used… The cheese, you can’t even taste, just a mushy greasy texture… I have a feeling they use sub par ingredients. They have a ton of variety tho so maybe some other things might be good. The service is very friendly so overall not a bad experience but the food unfortunately not great. I tried them a couple of times just to see. 1st time, quesedilla and then the tacos.

It was my first time at this place one of the best foods I have tried. Best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Miriam is the nicest person ever!

Such a caring, family run restaurant! Enjoyed the godly atmosphere, with scripture on the walls, and my sister thought they were studying Scripture while waiting for more customers when we came in at 8pm! I hope they stay in business – it was so tasty and the salsa was WARM, fresh and flavorful.
