We came for brunch and ordered a few dishes that looked really good on the menu, but unfortunately the food fell a bit flat in flavor. The pork belly was very hard and dry, and the eggs were undercooked with very watery whites.
The real star of the menu is the baked garlic olive bread that was amazing and definitely the highlight of the meal.
Overall, it seems like a good spot for drinks and bread, but the brunch dishes could use some improvement.

Angela was the absolute best! Probably one of the reasons why I would come back
Food was so good got appetizers and shared a plate. Amazing place for date night or family gathering. Vibes are good you can’t dress down or dress up good on noise level.

We came last minute on a whim for Valentine’s Day and the food and vibe was so amazing. Service exceptional from the minute we walked in the door. Our server was Angela and she had me taking care of the minute I was first seated with amazing wine recs and food pairings. I kept telling her I’ll take whatever you recommend because she was just so great with recommendations and such a fun time! Loved her! The managers and servers seriously all made us feel special and checked on the right amount and explained wine pairings etc. we can’t wait to be back

I’ve been here several times now, and it’s by far one of the best places around. We’ve often left town searching for great mom-and-pop steak restaurants, not realizing we had such an underrated gem right here.
Everything I’ve ordered is something I’d gladly order again. They’ve done an incredible job blending classic, homestyle flavors with a modern culinary touch. You truly get the best of both worlds.. restaurant-quality presentation with that homemade taste that keeps you coming back.
If you’re looking for a place that delivers consistency, flavor, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is it.

What a pleasant surprise!! Came in off a google review and was blown away with the quality and flavor profiles offered here. Highly recommend the Barbacoa doughnuts, pork belly chicharones, truffle Mac n chees, whipped feta and salmon. Alexa gave steered us in all the right directions and was an excellent server! We will definitely be back!

Went on a date night with my husband to Dos Olivos, and hands down—one of the best dining experiences we’ve had! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch.
Angela took such great care of us—she was attentive, friendly, and really elevated the entire experience, from offering wine samples to ensuring everything was perfect throughout our meal.
10/10 would recommend to anyone in the RGV! Dos Olivos truly has something special going on.

The salmon was delicious, the butternut squash with truffle oil phenomenal! I judge things on whether I can cook it at home and this is way above my capabilities! Great treat.

The food here here was really good. It is a one of the few upscale establishments located in Harlingen. We started with the Chicharon appetizer which had tons of flavor. I had the 10 oz. pork steak and fries. It was really good. My wife had the salmon which she enjoyed a lot. It had a sweet glaze and a tropical Pico. For dessert, benignets with a horchata creme sauce. They were amazing. They had a nice crispy outside with a soft fluffy inside. I was very pleased. The dining area isn’t huge but it still felt roomy. They also have a nice upscale market with spices and sauces. If I had any complaint it, our waitress was okay. I have had much worse and much better.

This place was so good that we went there twice in a row! I got the Chicken Karaage and it was the perfect balance of crispy and saucy. The Barbacoa Donuts and Fig and Chorizo Toast are fantastic to split. We also got the Chicharron and Chips was super yummy too. Just small portion to share. We got the flight of slushees that was so yummy! I will also say that the shrimp was really good however very small portion. So wasn’t enough for a main meal. I wish their menu was more accurate on sizing of dishes. I think since they put it under signature dishes you imagine it more as a main course not an appetizer. But still tasty. Since I am “The Housekeeper” I do have to comment on the bathrooms. They definitely should be cleaner and have the potential to be clean and cute but I felt like that was lacking. Otherwise a very well decorated restaurant, kind staff, and delicious food. The live music was also a great addition too!
