I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone in the Dexter/Ann Arbor area. Best tacos I’ve had in Michigan. You can customize your food how you want but do yourself a favor and get the asada or campechano on corn tortillas, with just onion and cilantro. Drench them in lime and one of their house made salsas. If you like spicy get the pickled onion and habanero on the side. Churros, ice cream bar, loaded fries, everything is excellent and the quality is consistent. Prices are also very reasonable.

I’ve consistently been served by this one guy (on the shorter side) who is always frowning and unenthusiastic while I place an order. He even seems to act annoyed at times, as if I’m imposing by placing an order at a restaurant…
I honestly can’t remember any friendly interactions that I have had with the staff aside from a young woman at the register today. I probably would stop going if the food wasn’t as good and/or I had better alternatives near me.
I hope they can take this review constructively and improve the service, because the food really is that good, and the restaurant is always clean and vibrant when I’m there. But their customers deserve to be shown more respect and appreciation.
They also need to fix their online ordering system, which seems to have been down for quite a while now. Frankly, I would have had nothing to complain about if I had still been able to order online and circumvent the poor service.

Their California Burrito is the best burrito I’ve had in Michigan. I try other things on the menu, but go back to that one! I also love the expansion of their dessert area – including the fantastic and unique agua frescas and helados. It’s obvious that the employees want to make quality food for their customers.

The food is incredible, especially for being in an “express” category. As new as this restaurant is, the Hermanos have their menu perfected for timeliness, presentation, and taste. The staff is very enthusiastic and excited for business. The location of the restaurant is perfect, as it is not in a busy area and does not seem crowded. All in all, this restaurant can easily become a weekly staple.

Went in with my wife for lunch. Wasn’t greeted. Completely ignored. Others who came in behind us served first. Had to leave due to limited lunch hour. When I called to register my complaint regarding service, they hung up on me. Never again. We’ve been shopping at the grocery store in Ypsilanti for 25 years and always been happy with the food and service. Will never try this place again. Horrible customer service. Insulting.

The taco I ate tonight put all other tacos in the Ann Arbor/Ypsi radius to shame. It was just chicken and cheese but it trumped any chain and frankly some other surrounding small businesses. I saw both of the hermanos, plus other friends, making fresh meals right up front the entire time. The staff is very friendly and answered all of my mom’s questions, though the music is very loud.
