The food was amazing. Service was even better. I’ve been looking for a good spot in Bridgeport that makes sopa de res how my parents make it and this is by far the closest! So delicious. The empanadas (pastelitos), churrasco, and pan were also great! Very small place (like 3 tables) is the only downside but you can order take out. I went on a Friday during lunch time and was able to sit down and eat there.

Dos Hermanos is truly a gem on Fairfield Ave! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a beautifully designed space that feels warm, welcoming, and full of life. The food is absolutely delicious, and the baked goods? Scrumptious! Every pastry tastes homemade with love. But what really makes this place special is the people behind the counter who are kind, genuine, and full of heart. You can tell the owners truly care about their business, their customers, and the community. It’s rare to find a place with this level of quality in both food and people. Hands down the best spot on Fairfield Ave is a must-visit! ✨

Always happy to support small local businesses. I went in for lunch and it was everything I was expecting and more. Fresh bread and pastries, delicious coffee and a small beautiful menu. Ordered the empanadas and the carne asada sandwich. Already thinking about when I can go back for more!

Best horchata and oatmeal I’ve had in the US! I’m so happy to have a piece of Guatemala in my neighborhood. Excellent service and the cafe is spotless.

Ever since they opened I have been going regularly and it is hard to keep me away. As a Guatemalan who loves her country’s cuisine, this place brings me so much joy. The food is top notch and consistent quality each time I go. It’s almost like they’re hiding someone’s abuela in the kitchen. Good traditional Guatemalan food takes loads of time and high skill and they do it here. Run, don’t walk!

Love this place and am so happy they opened in our neighborhood! We went for our second time today, trying the lunch and WOW it was incredible. We shared the empanadas, beef soup and a pork sandwich. Really fair portion sizes and prices here, the food is handmade and great quality. There are few places that feel this comforting and authentic these days, we are so lucky to have Dos Hermanos here in Black Rock.
We grabbed some of the fresh pastries to go and they did not disappoint.

We are so stoked this finally opened up! It’s such a cute and clean spot. We had our first pastry from there and it was incredible – Gusano. My 19mo agrees. 🙂 They are also super friendly and work hard behind the counter. It’s the perfect addition to our community!

Today I went to this beautiful place. The bread with marinated meat is delicious, and the decor is beautiful. It’s a small place that makes you feel at home. Thank you for having a little corner of Guatemala.

Went there for the first time today and I really liked the atmosphere, cute decor . I was on the run so I just ordered a bacon egg and cheese. Really loved the crispy bacon and the way the egg was cooked. Didn’t have to wait long to get it. I’ll go back to try other items on their menu
