This restaurant may be located in a building converted from a former tenant because the seating area wraps around the kitchen on two sides. There are three tables of outside seating with umbrellas, as well. I ate an early dinner here on a Sunday — my first visit. I chose the Taco Salad ($11.75) with carne asada, Chicken Taquitos [3] with included guacamole ($5.75), and a Mexican Coke ($3.00). Everything was really tasty. The taquitos may have been pre-made but they were freshly fried. The taco salad was served in a pre-fried shell but was heaping with refried beans, rice, crisp lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream. There was no cheese on the salad. It was clear to me that these items were fresh and made with quality ingredients. Unfortunately, only plastic utensils are available, even when dining in. The cashier was courteous, knowledgeable, and spoke English. The booths were comfortable and in good repair. The floors and windows were clean. The restroom was also clean and well de-odorized, although there was some graffiti on one wall (which had clearly been painted many times to obliterate previous vandalism). I always read previous reviews before choosing a new (to me) restaurant. I often pay particular attention to Zero and One Star reviews to get the whole picture. I found such evaluations for this establishment especially petty and non-relevant. Overall, I found nothing wrong with this restaurant, especially at these price points. Dos Hermanos is Highly Recommend.

I don’t have to say much everybody already knows that this original flavor is just the most amazing Mexican food and Riverside! It’s been a staple for years! And I’m so grateful to see the same women here making this amazing food! Our visit today was pleasant and I was so excited I didn’t even take pictures of my food lol but Take a look for yourself through the reviews or just come on down here and pick anything on the menu. Say one thing shredded beef taco! The original hardshell, shredded beef taco the best one you’ll ever have in your life! The salsa is amazing and I just can’t put enough words into describing the flavors of this food! Thank you guys for still being here, providing such a great mix of flavors in this fine Mexican cuisine! Great location of parking, friendly staff and affordable!

We were going to Zacatecas for breakfast but too many ppl and the wait was long, we Googled this place and we are not sorry for coming!! We will be back. Food was very authentic and delicious. The food is always good. However service is really lacking. Especially on Saturday and Sunday they get really slow. Waited 25 mins for my food so go to the cashier. She tells me that there are a lot of orders. I point out that she could have told me that before I ordered. She then asks if I want to cancel my order, which was the reason I was asking how long. She kept having an attitude afterwards too. Plus they have this strange guy opening the door for everyone. Didn’t feel safe for my kids.

Undoubtedly, Dos Hermanas Mexican Food is the finest purveyor of Mexican cuisine in Riverside. My repeated experiences with their establishment have consistently exceeded expectations. Their culinary offerings, ranging from chilaquiles to hard-shell tacos, burritos, aguachiles and the delectable menudo served on Sundays, are all of exceptional quality. Moreover, the service provided is commendable, fostering a welcoming and familial atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting Dos Hermanas Mexican Food if the opportunity arises.
