If you know, you know — Dos Gallos just hits different.
My wife grew up going to Dos Gallos as a kid, so it’s always had a special place in her heart. When we first started dating, one of the first spots she took me to was Dos Gallos. I knew right then it was serious — because you don’t bring just anybody to your childhood favorite spot.
Fast forward five years into our marriage, and we’re still there at least once a week. Some traditions just stick.
The Caldo de Res is straight fire — packed with flavor, always fresh, and somehow exactly what you need every time. The shrimp quesadillas are the bomb (no debate), and don’t even get me started on the queso dip… ridiculously good.
Great food, great memories, and now it’s part of our story too. If you haven’t been to Dos Gallos, you’re missing out.

A nice “family style” restaurant in Humble, Texas. No vegan options, just a few dishes that could be considered vegetarian. Other in the place seem to enjoy their meat dishes.

Great food and prices. Teresa, the owner, welcomes everyone that comes through the door, personally making the rounds to see that customers are being tended to. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. Tacos, enchiladas, charro beans, fish and soups are among my favorite dishes. It’s all good! Try Dos Gallos for yourself.

I made a pickup order for a full order of sopapillas and though it took 10 minutes longer than the wait I was quoted it was completely worth it! Everyone was kind and accommodating while I waited and the sopapillas were phenomenal, so delicious!!

No wait at all. Servers are super nice and frequently check in ro make sure everything is alright. The food is amazing- Maybe a little old sometimes, but not expired or anything. They still make it taste amazing. The atmosphere was really nice and well decorated.

I have known Teresa for 25 years since she opened her restaurant, beautiful place wonderful friend that she has become. I highly recommend everyone to come and visit her food. Her place as you will enjoy it as much as I do. God bless.

We came on a Saturday for a late lunch when we got there it was just one family so not very busy but there were other people who came during the time. The food was really good my favorite part was the rice it was really tasty the enchiladas were also very good. The store had a very homey vibe to it. Happy hour on margaritas u fortunately it didn’t include the strawberry but the original was still very good. I have no complaints about this restaurant we really enjoyed it even the kids loved the food.

I wanted to try this place for years. I read about someone recommending it so I made a point to go. Everyone there was so sweet and helpful! They kept checking on me. I went in for a late breakfast (eggs and potato plate) and I ate the whole thing! Its also a great value for your money! I’ll be back with my family, for sure!

I almost always stop here before work or when I’m in the area. Food is great and inexpensive. Service is phenomenal. And their sauce is actually spicy. Would rate higher if I could.
