I had given up on Mexican restaurants in the UK but the only way to describe Dos Dedos is “paraíso terrenal”. The staff is attentive and happy to help. The other patrons are friendly. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and perfect for someone missing their southern California home. (Also, Happy Hour Margaritas are a must!)

Always have really great service whenever we visit. The atmosphere is nice, especially for a date night or drinks with friends. Sometimes it can be a little loud for conversations (after dinner time) but it’s always good music playing.
Best spicy margaritas I’ve had in Bath, and the food is always really nice too. Fun selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Definitely recommend!

Let’s start with the tacos…10 out of 10. And that’s coming from a Mexican raised in Southern California. After living in the UK for 10 years, I’ve seriously struggled to find a taco that hits the mark… until now. These were spot on.
We also shared the nachos with shredded beef—absolutely beautiful. Another solid 10 out of 10. To top it off, we had a spicy margarita and a cold Modelo, the perfect pairing.
We’re already planning special trips back to Bath just for this place. I think what really makes it stand out is the simplicity of the menu—it’s focused, authentic, and done right.

Edited review – we used to love it but have found the last few visits disappointing.
We’ve always loved Dos Dedos however, recently we’ve found the prices creeping up and the level of service creeping down. The staff always seem to be having a great time, almost too good of a time as they are often chatting/ drinking at the bar. Wouldn’t mind this if we weren’t then slapped with a £15 service charge after having to wait a long time for one persons main (and having had nobody check on us throughout or meal or apologise for the delay).
In general, the prices have gone up and the portions, food options and quality of service have gone down. It’s still nice but not as good as it used to be and you leave feeling ripped off and still a bit hungry!
Dos Dedos has the best margaritas in Bath, but the price has gone up a lot recently and the food menu could do with some more veggie options! I love Dos Dedos for a few drinks a chill vibe, but the price seems to have shot up recently (as well as portions getting smaller) and I do think the drinks are now a little overpriced! However, the food is really tasty (always order extra cheese sauce though) but another vegetarian option would be great. It is still a great place and I will keep returning!

Seated quickly just after opening and it filled up quickly. Amazing atmosphere, great service. We got a Catalytic Converter cocktail which came with a tortilla chip, the beef tacos and the chicken which were all amazing. Never had anything like the cocktail and highly recommend if you’re around

This is without a doubt the best place to go for Mexican food in Bath. The place is a good cosy size that makes it feel authentic to what I imagine this is trying to replicate.
You can either go here for a quick drink with snacks, or a full meal if you’re prepared to order more. The range of cocktails is large and I’ve been told they are excellent by my partner.
The staff were friendly and the singular toilet was clean. I got the sense that the cook/cooks were passionate about their food and this wasn’t just a job to pay the bills. Clearly a lot of love put into this place.
This was also the best nachos I’ve eaten – they felt fresh, healthy and light, unlike the ones you often get drowned on fake cheese and buckets of sad cream.
I would recommend this place in Bath as somewhere to go with friends or as a couple. A great place to stop for a while in Bath.

Great spot for gluten free tacos! There are vegetarian options on the menu, the tacos were tasty and the nachos portion was enough to share between two! We left feeling very satisfied.
The staff were super friendly and drinks looked great which I will have to try next time!
