Longstanding Mexican restaurant in Davis that has been serving fresh and delicious food items for several decades. Festively decorated large interior that can seat large parties, and there are also several outdoor tables in the patio area. We have been enjoying their burritos, nachos, and salad bowls for many years. Fast and friendly staff. Large free parking lot.

Fresh delicious healthy food! The colorful atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing dinner! We ordered the Chicken fajita plate with grains and the Tres Taco plate. Everything was cooked nicely and the salsa bar is a plus! They have a variety of Veggie options also!

Got our entire order wrong. I spoke to the manager, Olin and he actually laughed at me when I told him our order was incorrect. I was 20 minutes away and I was asked to bring the food back to prove it even though I offered to send pictures of what we received vs what our order tag said/ what we ordered. He refused to give us any sort of refund without bringing the food back being 20 minutes away. Terrible customer service. Extremely rude and unprofessional manager to laugh at a customer and pretty much called me a liar. Will never return and will find the owner to report this

It feels like the quantity of food has declined over time (eg two tacos v three) but quality is still good. I like that Bobby keeps trying new things. Atmosphere a bit loud inside – hard to talk when busy – but otherwise good.

The staff are kind and clearly putting in effort, and they were apologetic for the errors in my order. But this place needs to tighten up some loose gears in their operation. I ordered three items, and had to return for them to remake the order, as two dishes were wrong. (The veggie nacho order had been loaded up with steak, and the salmon burrito order was entered as a shrimp burrito, and even still they gave a steak burrito instead.) The remade order was still subpar quality, as the nachos were soggy, and the burrito was overloaded with rice. Again, the staff are kind, and I do wish everyone here well, but the quality should be improved for the money spent. This instance makes me yearn for the days when tipping was expected after service and not before; the experience did not warrant a tip.

For years I’ve ordered the kid’s chicken and rice plate with chips. Recently, I’ve been getting my new favorite: the chicken or steak border burrito. Damn that border burrito!!! It had caused my food baby to come alive and really should knock it off. I just won’t, so there’s that. Go get one and see for yourself.

Cool atmosphere, nice decor and was not overly crowded. Within a mile from UC DAVIS. Everything was great except the food. I got the 3 taco combo…crispy beef. Beef was very wet, shells didn’t hold up and meat was very flavorless. Also ordered the guacamole and chips…guacamole needed some salt. My son and husband both got burritos and neither burrito stayed together after the 1st few bites. My husband said his shrimp burrito was good.
They had a salsa bar that was nice. They had bottled sodas that are hard to find…like sarsaparilla. That was very cool. Employees were very friendly…cool atmosphere just very bland food. My bill was just over $70

I do two triathlons in Napa/Lake Berryessa each year. As I drive back to Reno, I have my traditional Mahi Mahi taco. A single one. Two is waaaayyy too much. But it is clean food that does not upset my body. I drive home knowing I ate as healthily as I spent the day exercising. Went to school at UC Davis. Always nice to come back home!

I picked up a 18 liter cask of Aardvark serum from the Aardvarks-R-Us supply store up in Grayhaven where that little weasel Jasper Wingsetter milks Aardvarks 8 hours a day, and were not talking about dairy milk either! They call it a Face Serum…and the gals go crazy for it, the beauty store there goes through 18 liters a month, keeping Jasper on his toes! The lady at the store highly recommended the Dos Coyotes Border Cantina, and said the Tacos de carnitas y frijoles refritos are La Bomba! ☆☆☆☆☆
