I like coming to this restaurant with family as the ambiance is very high energy. Dos Compadres offers a wide variety of food and drinks. This is a good spot if you are celebrating a special occasion the music is loud and their alcoholic drinks are great. The servers are all great and will check in to see if you need anything. A big hit is their molcajetes and fajitas. Definitely tasty and portions are big. I didn’t think it was expensive, compared to other Mexican restaurants in price but their food is well seasoned and the service is always great. I didn’t get the best photo but this is a good option if you’re wanting Mexican food or a fun dinner with family and friends.

I was recommended this restaurant from my sister. I came with my sister, brother in law, nephew and my kids. I gave 2 stars because the food was ok. The service was not so great. When we first arrived it took about 15 minutes before a hostess even acknowledged us, we were finally seated, it then took about 20-25 minutes before we even got some water, I ordered the chili relleno plate with rice and beans, one if my daughters ordered the kids quesadilla with fries and i also ordered a regular quesadilla with nothing on it. The waitress repeated the order back to me and itbwas correct….. when the waitress brought out the plain quesadilla I had ordered, she walked up and said (I know you ordered plain nothing on it but they put sour cream, guacamole and Pico De Gallo on it, do you want it? I said no thank you, I ordered plain (because it was for my 4yr old). She says ok with an attitude and takes it back. She comes back fairly quick, only to hand me a plate that had the same quesadilla on it where you can clearly see the toppings were scraped off and the quesadilla cut. So basically I got half of the regular quesadilla that I ordered with topping still on it. In my honest opinion, she should have never brought the food out to me knowing damn well that is not what I ordered, she should have had the cook remake this item correctly.
After the waitress brought almost all our plates out, my brother was sitting there for about 10 minutes without food until we asked about his plate. So unprofessional!
Needless to say I was highly disappointed with this restaurants service and professionalism. I will not be returning.

I usually doordash pickup my food but this place seems to be busy in a good way. The staff seems friendly and attentive to the guests sitting down. My go to is Chile Verde with some tacos on the side. We recently did a really big order and everything was in the bags.

Enjoyed a meal at Dos Compadres. Service was great. Food still tastes great. I went in a Monday and didn’t know Mondays are Happy Hour ALL day.
Really good food Our first time here. Waiter was terrible. Asked waitress for manager but she told waiter. Never did see manager. Definitely will try again. If service is bad again we’ll just order delivery.

I ordered ahead. The food was ready. For pick although it was a bit cold not hot as expected. I waited a bit to pay. Over all not to shabby I do like the establishment. I will say this, I have been coming here for years and have noticed that over the years the food and the service is getting less attentive.

We came to this spot- party of 15… all but 3 didn’t get sick the ones who didn’t eat the beans. Really sucks because the food was good. This was the first place we all agreed we would come to again but then food poisoning ruined that. Never again

I typically leave positive reviews but the lack of acknowledgement is what I did not like. I understand staff can be busy but being sat first and offered drinks last is not my idea of good service. While waitresses only entertain certain individuals, the bartender took notice and saved the situation by approaching us with fresh water.

I was very upset I ordered 2 veggie tacos w whole beans *specifically said on the order no beef because I’m vegan. I get my tacos and one of them had a piece of beef in it. This is very upsetting and also very concerning because if someone has allergies they are not considerate of special instructions. I was lucky enough to have checked my tacos and notice before biting into it but I can’t imagine what that would have done to my stomach if I hadn’t paid attention and trusted it wouldn’t have beef in it.

First time: I decided to scroll through the reviews to see if anyone else experienced what I did and sure enough, YES. 1 month ago. 6 months ago…. EVEN 3 YEARS AGO!! Still, no change. So here I go.
Stopped in on a nice, hot, Sunny, CA day, on the last day of April, the 30th of 2025, and We walked in. Pretty much walked back out and went somewhere else….. La MORENITA: ON COFFEE ROAD AND SYLVAN.(see pics for their menu)
Dad and I walked in, and if my Dad says something, I go with it. We waited, talked amongst ourselves and No acknowledgment, No greet, No Look.
Decided to wait and see if a “worker” would be near us after going to a table, and one did, but turned back the other away, disregarding us.
Maybe our skin color wasn’t “orange” or “light enough” and I’ve noticed that lots of Mexican places who claim they’re “authentic,” cater to a “certain demographic” then their own “Mexican People” ,but that’s fine.
I’m here now writing this and avoided to give them any of my hard earned $$$….
And the 2 of us turned into 5 and we went to La Morenita: 3500
Coffee road, where the food was excellent, fresh and AUTHENTIC. We were greet happily and we had a great time! They serve ice COLD PEPSI AND FRESH ENCHILADAS, sopes, chili rellenos, caldo de pollo, and many other items that other people “disliked at this place”!
(Decided to walked all the way to the only person who looked my way and told the Bartender how I felt so whoever reads this, ask him and find out what I said. Good luck and hopefully you get some “mature” waiters instead of “kids” who haven’t experience any kind of “customer service/multitasking/working through breaks” and represent a business “CORRECTLY”
