Food was excellent. The menu has a variety of dishes that I haven’t seen at other Mexican restaurants. The dishes were very flavorful. I highly recommend the Birria Tacos and Tres Leche cake. It was our first visit and we will be back!

My intention was to visit a new spot local to me and invest in small businesses near home.
I’d like to caution folks to be aware of all menu items and ask for prices before ordering. We’re charged for water despite not seeing it on the menu. New York is known for having quality tap water and our server informed us that their water is bottled. That information contradicts what’s on the menu since there isn’t water listed under bebidas (both on the online and printed menu).
It appears that their Milanesa de Pollo no longer comes with Avocado. This is not a restaurant that has a standard process for their menu, be sure to read it thoroughly and accept that parts might be missing.
Their menu is generally okay, hence the 3 stars. Service was generally ok.
The food has no spice and that was quite disappointing and their Salsas had no spice. While we were provided with their standard salsas, they had no spice. I’ll be sure to bring some of my own next time.
Be careful if you intend to sit in their booths. The booths are not secure, and a member of my fell into the booth, moving the set next to us. If there were others sitting next to us, I suspect the momentum would result in food getting all over them.
Generally an okay place. Maybe in the future they’ll work on the menu, develop more transparency, and make the food spicy/more flavorful.
