First time trying this restaurant, came from Fort Worth. It was worth the drive, the food was delicious.

Family owned business in Boyd, Texas. We stopped in after the lunch crowd was there. Very organized and clean restaurant. Service was outstanding throughout our dinning experience. The salsa was the best that we’ve had in any restaurant, its made fresh daily and come in regular or hot. The food was made fresh and came out pippin hot. Looking at the orders other people placed filled the room with mouth watering aromas. The servings were enough to fill you up and were seasoned perfectly. The desert was out of this world we ordered the NY style cheesecake and the apple pie. When you stop in definitely save room for the apple pie. It come in a piping hot dish with ice cream. All deserts they have along with all the other dishes are true comfort food. Definitely stop in and enjoy one of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in the area. You won’t be disappointed. We’re definitely going back!

Great Tex-Mex restaurant. Extended family all came for an early lunch after pre-k Christmas show. Nice, clean, unfancy building. Mild salsa was plain. Spicy salsa was delicious. My wife and I shared beef fajita vegetable stir fry special. It was plenty for two and delicious and very fairly priced. Flour tortillas were a good medium size and tasted perfect. Highly recommend for good Tex-Mex if you happen to be in Boyd.

This place is great and we have been eating here for years. Personally my favorite is the southwest grilled chicken. The hot sauce is awesome but not the mild, it’s called hot sauce for a reason guys…. We will be eating here as long as they are around I’m sure, so good!!

Food 4/5: The Playo de Barbacoa was ok. Nothing to write home about.
Service 4/5: Took a while to get drinks but after we got rolling, service was ok.
Atmosphere 4/5: Nothing special but it was clean.

The first time I went it was good, but this time not so much. I had the arroz con pollo and the rice was hard and the chicken tough. The flavor was good though. Then I tried the fried ice cream and I don’t believe they fried it. It seemed like soggy corn flakes mixed with ice cream. It was disgusting. I hope that is not the fried ice cream everyone goes on and on about because I have never had it before. It did not look like the picture though. On a good note the service was awesome!!!

I had no idea why my 80+ yo grandparents wanted to drive from Ft Worth to this restaurant. Now I do. I got the Laredo plate with a chicken and mushroom enchilada, a chicken flauta, and a soft taco. It was incredibly delicious, cooked perfectly, and the portions were huge. My flauta was amazing. The rice and refried beans were the best I’ve tasted. Nanny and Papa day they’ve been coming close to 20 years and the food quality has been consistently good. I would recommend Dos Chiles to anyone, and I wish I lived closer!

I hadn’t been to Dos Chiles in years and we got the enchilada dinner with a side of queso. 4 stars only because we remembered everything being a little more flavorful. I never add salt to my meals but everything including the salsa needed some salt. I’ll chalk it up to an off day in the kitchen as the service was on point even on a busy Saturday during lunch.

The waitress took a while to take our order. There were only 2 other tables at that time. The food is a bit pricey in my opinion. We had thr Barbacoa plate, steak quasidilla and queso. Food was flavored well. The charo beans are bell pepper flavored so that was unusual to me.
