What a pleasant delight! It’s giving classic yet rustic and refined Spanish vibes. We had the squid ink paella garlic scallops, sea bass and delicious decadent almond cake & decadent hazelnut ice cream the old town Pasadena ambiance adds pleasantry to our dining experience. The table service is attentive & efficient. Some of the menu options are seasonal, based on the local crops. I had the lychee martini and it was lovely. I wish they would have more extensive cocktails options in addition to their extensive wines lists. Overall, dos besos is a wonderfully intimate setting to celebrate special occasion, having business lunch/meeting, or date nights.

Absolutely incredible experience. We had the mushroom and the octopus tapas, the tuna carpaccio with greens, and we shared a salt crusted sea bass. We finished with the almond cake and ice cream. Everything was delicious.

Came here in June 2022 when they were open during brunch. They do not do that anymore.

Wonderful dinner and experience. Honestly I can admit this has to be my favorite, at least in my top three, dinner that I have had in Pasadena. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, which is always a bonus. When I made reservations, I spoke with the owner and requested a specific table, and she made sure it happened, in addition she was very polite and sweet when we arrived. I saw her do the same with every other guest while we were in there as well. Our server Audrey was also very polite, prompt, and beautiful. It’s very quaint and small on the inside, although they do have a large outdoor seating area as well, but on the inside they space out the seating well so it’s easy to get in and out of every table and you’re not so close that you can hear every word that’s said at other tables like a few other places close by. I was able to find metered parking directly in front of the restaurant, however, there is a large, four-story parking garage right across the street as well for $4, so honestly parking will not be an issue.

Their quality control is on-point all around! Service, ambiance, and the foods… The seafood in paella was the freshest I’ve ever had… When they scrape the bottom bits (stuck to the pan) for you, do not leave a single bit behind! I feel like I could’ve eaten the whole paella by myself. From the rice grain texture to the combination of aromatic flavors and fresh seafood, the paella was really amazing. Best seafood paella I’ve had in my life.

First time here and certainly won’t be the last. All the tapas I tried were amazing, especially the lentil soup and the pork paella was superb. Service was quick and attentive and the owners were very nice. Make sure to make a reservation since the physical size of this place is on the small side. Parking is conveniently across the street in the union structure.

Dos Besos has the best Spanish Tapas in Los Angeles. I’ve been here 3 times now. I’ve sampled almost everything on the menu.

First time in this new Spanish restaurant. The Spanish cheese selection and the aged Iberico ham are rich and delicious. I really liked the truffle cheese that contrasted well with the sweet strawberries. Two of our orders were cooked with restraint; I found the albondigas and prawns quite bland. The lamb chops were perfectly grilled and flavored with rosemary sauce. The octopus was moist and nicely seasoned. The desserts were ok but the sangria and ice tea were watered down. The staff and owners are very friendly and the service is impeccable.

This is one of the best restaurant I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this Spanish restaurant!! All the dishes I ordered are 10 out of 10. The texture and taste are right on the point, the seasoning is great!

Great ambiance indoor and outdoor space with great service. Great selection of tapas, we ordered octopus- it was really tender, creamy mushrooms, albondigas (Spanish meatballs), charcuterie of Spanish cheese was delicious. We also loved the truffle pasta with shaved truffles, the lamb was really good, and the squid ink paella. As for desert, the almond cake with ice cream was amazing that we ordered a second round. Wine, was really good too. We will visit again 🙂
