Xychotic Break
I was pleasantly surprised by the Sunday lunch buffet. The flavors are on point Mexican. The salsa is tame by all standards. What they really need is a taco/burrito/nacho bar where people make their own. The attempt at a buffet is nice but there’s definitely room for improvement. Lastly, the lack of al pastor is disappointing. My quest continues.

The food was awful. Plain, bland, no flavor, except the guacamole. It tasted like it had been sitting in a metal can for 10 years. Price was outrageous. They advertised Coke products but only served Pepsi products. The service was fantastic, very friendly attentive staff, glasses were always full. Unfortunately the food was sub-par.

Last trip, I ordered a Dos Equis Amber tall beer and it was 32 oz ($8). Their queso is good and their salsa is decent. In my opinion (and everyone else I’ve seen order one), their blue margarita special is pretty bad. Their regular margarita is good and we’ve been known to order a pitcher of it a time or two.

We went for lunch on a weekend day. The place seemed busy but the waiter was attentive. The buffet was kept fresh and the selections there were pretty good. We would go there again if we were in that part of town again and had a desire for Mexican fare.(we do not get over that way too often) .

Horrible service and beer. I ordered a short bud light on draft and got a tall. When I was time to pay out it took 20 mins to get my check. Not to mention we were the only people in the building. Then when we looked at the check I payed 7 dollars for a bud light and they had my husband down for a 32 Oz beer which he asked for a 23 Oz. So bad. First time being there. I will never go back again. And I will tell my friends how terrible it was and how over priced it was as well.

Absolutely great service and food. Definitely try the carnita soft tacos! The salsa is on point! My fiance and I love this place, and will not go to any other Mexican restaurant.

If you like authentic Mexican food, this is your spot. If you like American style Mexican, pass it by. Hand painted Mexican chairs are a nice touch and they have decent food and alcohol prices.
