I had a great time here. We had the chicken ramen and the tonkotsu with seafood. Both dishes were very filling and delicious, and steaming hot when they arrived. The drinks there had lots of variety to choose from, guaranteed to be something for anyone. The dining area was quite small and not intended for a large group but that made it more enjoyable for me personally. Overall a pleasant experience, quiet and quaint, with a calm atmosphere.

Where to start… this restaurant is hands down one of my favorite places to enjoy authentic, inexpensive (full meal WITH salad and miso soup!!), and DELICIOUS Cuisine! The portions never fail to fill me up, and have me getting extra to go home with! The staff are wonderful hardworking individuals, they are always so polite and attentive. The ramen is *chefs kiss* always a homerun.. but if you ask me what my favorite dishes are, I’ll tell you they make some KILLER Chicken karage, and their newest dish Pad Kra Pao is a 10/10!! It’s a PERFECT dish for those who love some spiceeeee! Its FANTABULOUSSSS! The runny egg on top just seals the deal with the flavor combination! My personal experiences there have been nothing but perfect Chef Alan, and Chef Paponake MacIntosh Thank you!

It took us a while, but we finally made it to Doragon Eatery in Ashland. Open for about eight years now, this cozy spot delivers great service & an inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Everything we tried tasted incredibly fresh, with many ingredients locally sourced—a detail you can really taste. We started with their house-made raspberry & passion fruit soda, which was refreshing & perfectly balanced. Next came the handmade black garlic pork veggie gyoza & the pork kimchi gyoza, served with a spicy Thai sauce that tied everything together beautifully. We couldn’t resist the honey gochujang wings—sweet, spicy, & generously sized. For our main dishes, he ordered the chicken karaage rice bowl that came with a salad & miso soup. The chicken was marinated & breaded just right: crispy, light, & full of flavor. I went with the tonkatsu ramen with ground pork & pork belly, & it may be the best ramen I’ve had. The broth was rich, savory, & deeply satisfying. You can truly feel the love behind the food at Doragon Eatery. Run by Chef Pepsi & Chef Alan, this is a place that puts heart into every dish—& one we genuinely appreciate.

Food was delicious! The dumplings were worth getting for sure. Try their soy sauce, it’s got the perfect about of kick and flavor. I liked the soup but it was a little salty/spicy (not sure it I’m just not used to it). Overall great spot, will be back for sure!

Some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in the States since coming back from Japan. It’s almost exclusively Ramen, fried chicken, and sweet drinks, yes they have more on the menu but this is the bulk of it.
Strawberry matcha drink was legendary, the karage tho being one of the best in the states still pales in comparison to some good old Family Mart chicken, which for a theoretical 5x the price was wild lol
Finding Japanese curry in the States is really difficult, they got the flavor spot on but man was it not thick enough.
Pricing was a bit pricy, but hey that’s good these days.
In July 2025, it cost $110,to get 4 drinks, 2 apps, 2 entrees… yikes
Place is kinda small but they have parking, hours could be better.

I had the level 2 hellfire ramen with TONKOTSU broth. I am a true chili head and love spicy food. This was the first time that I ordered a dish that lived up to its billing.
Extremely spicy but delicious. Home made ramen noodles were thick and chewy.
Highly recommended.

The Yum-Yum soup is great any time of year, but especially on freezing cold nights! Very ample portion, great price, quality ingredients and really well packaged to go. Great and friendly service. Thanks for another great meal Doragon!

We love eating here. The food is pricey–but totally worth it. You get what you pay for in high quality food with great presentation. Don’t underestimate the hellfire ramen! I ordered one level too spicy last time and it was hard to eat (though of course I finished it). I recommend working your way up the spice ladder with that one. So grateful to have this little authentic spot in our neighborhood. Thanks to the team for keeping it running!

I only had the chicken ramen. The Takoyaki is fire , and a variety of wing flavors. It is a tight small place, few tables to dine in. Amazing ramen, best around!
