As a connoisseur of patisseries, I can confidently say this is the best bakery I have ever been to – excellent in the balance and subtleties of its confections. Doppios pastries use sugar/sweetness to emphasize other flavors (passionfruit, quince, lemon, chestnut) etc, rather than dumping in sugar for a cheap high (sadly the norm in most well branded, influencer hyped bakeries so common in the DMV). I tried 7 of their pastries waiting for a weak link I thought was inevitable – but found each confection a new creative triumph. This baker should be discussed in every circle of fine taste and culinary arts.

Europe in a pocket park in hampden. Order the pastries, no matter the time of day!
The dough is perfect, the vibes are both cool and family friendly, the bottle prices are approachable without compromising on quality, and the overall experience feels unique, special, and unforgettable. It’s hard to pick a favorite moment here – the food is awesome, the service is great, and you feel deeply a part of the community while also magically in your own world here. I think they’ve accomplished something truly special here, and I hope to see it evolve and stay true to the community – and as patrons, i hope we appreciate and live up to what they offer our community!

Had a slice of cheese pizza and a maritozzi. The maritozzi was so delicious! It was huge and I fully anticipated asking for a box on my way out, but it was light and airy that I ate the whole thing! I got there shortly before closing and it was still fresh amd delicious. Definitely a must try! The pizza was good. Crispy bottom, but not obnoxiously so. Tasted like a sourdough crust which since I didnt fully read the menu was a surprising, but pleasant touch. Would like to go back and try the coffee. They had some yummy sounding ones!
Also SUPER cute cafe. Ive never been to italy, but I imagine the cafes there look like this one

The pizza was really good got the special it was fig pizza and the fig tart. Make sure you go on a nice day it started to rain and it really only outside seating not much inside. The vanilla cream soda was good too!

Have had their pastries before at the other locations and finally came for the real food! The cheese pizza was pretty good, great cheese pull, and taste. But crust was pretty tough, not a fan. Meatless parm sandwich was pretty good! Burnt edges, but the burn fortunately did not overtake the good taste. Did not enjoy the $8 arancini. Got the meat one, though it had two granules of ground meat. Showed the staff and they said normally it’s got 1.5 ounces of meat. Shocked me. Very weird customer experience on that.

Update April 2025: The best pizza in Baltimore City! Even on a busy Sunday afternoon, with a line out the door, a whole pie was ready in under 15 minutes. There’s lots of outdoor seating. Service is always friendly and helpful. All the food is consistently delicious.
(Feb 2025: The new permanent location across from R. House is wonderful! The space is colorful and lively yet relaxing. Pizza slices and arancini were excellent. And it looks like there will be some outdoor seating when the weather warms up!)

Amazing pizza. Top 3 in the city right now. Thin and crispy crust. Firm and foldable. Absolutely delicious. Skip the slice and get a whole pie! Only complaint is the lack of seating

The place was really cozy, and I loved their pizza. The perfect sauce to crust to cheese ratio made my day 10 times better. We had golden latte and pistachio latte, which were really good, and pistachio bun was not my fav but yes it was good too. I would reccomend it 100% loved it! Thanks for such good service.

Good local place to have italian pastries and food.
It is cute place next to R house. Inside and outside are cute. Local and casual place for brunch. I went there with friends.
We had pizza which was pretty good. We also had cannoli which was good but very crispy/hard outside. Coffee was good. Pistachio bun was really good too. Crispy on the outside but soft inside.
I wanna try the salted hot chocolate and mushroom lasgna next time. Maybe other pastries as well. I wish they have more food

I got a piece of tiramisu which was very good, but had to pay a 15% gratuity (for takeout?). Totaled $8.23. Then I saw a sesame demi-baguette near the register and asked for one of those to go. I had to pay another 15% gratuity that took this nice half a baguette up to $8.23. Ouch. For half a baguette? What ever happened to good taste AND good value? Very pretentious place. No thanks. They were probably glad to get rid of an old fart like me.
