This is one of the best Indians I’ve had in years. Service was good, food fantastic and we all left far too full up!
(Might be our fault for having kebabs as starters).

The mango chicken kebab was absolutely fantastic, probably the best thing I ate whilst in Dublin.

Fancy restaurant inside, clearly a popular date spot too.

Not a cheap one but well worth it

Disappointing to the core! Went in for Valentine’s lunch today and felt trapped by the set menu. It was no where mentioned on the website that they will only be serving from a set menu on Valentine’s. Highly expensive and low quality food. We found a hair in a tandoori roti. Told the waiter about it but he seemed careless and told us he’ll let the chef know. That’s it. No apologies or any compensation!
If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Indian food, Doolally is NOT the place to go to. There are several other places in Dublin that offer way better food at a better price.

Enjoyed a group dinner here. I got the Malai Chicken Tikka kebab, which was tasty but small for the price and didn’t include rice. Loved the Rasmalai Tres Leches dessert. Shame they’re understaffed – it took ages for courses to come out and waiters were always on the run. Best Indian food I’ve tried so far in Dublin.

We where a group of 10 that attended an Xmas dinner 65pp so we had to order from a set menu
The atmosphere was great very tasteful but I felt the menu was underwhelming and made to fill u up with “non costly items” … fries lots of nan bread lentils we had to share the rice vs. Each got his own … dessert was just ok the mains was the best but I was looking at other tables and food looked much much better for that price we ended up paying 100pp with drinks etc. For what it was I felt not good value for money a cheap and cheerful local Indian would have given us much more maybe they just cater for smaller groups and food from regular menu much better but Xmas menu was meh average at best like Indian food from a buffet at an airport business class lounge … it could be vastly improved we had a good night nontheless

Chicken / murgh tikka masala, chaat , soya chaap were excellent.Garlic and chives naan was perfect . Aloo gobi and saag corn paneer was good enough. Pilau rice was ok and Mango lassi wasn’t up to the expectations so over all a good dining experience.

A great experience. The food (bhuna and jalfrezi) was fantastic. Additionally, the pints of beer are perfect – a very clean pint, nicer than a lot of the bars in Dublin. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Amazing food !!!!

An old favourite.

I used to eat here or order take out every week or two, and this is the first time back when visiting home after almost 2 years and everything is still great: Atmosphere, service and especially the Paneer Makhni is still incredibly good and flavoursome.

I have been here a few times now and neither the food or service has disappointed me. The cocktails are also delicious.
When the food arrives the conversation around the table almost dies down, which is a sign of great food. The last time I was here I had Tangra Chili Chicken as a starter and Butter Chicken with basmati rice and garlic naan as main course. All I’d happily order again!

I loved the service absolutely amazing! The food was nice, though a bit too spicy for me, but the staff were so kind and attentive about it. They even gave me a candy afterward, haha! Cheers to Goran for being so thoughtful. Loved the whole experience, totally recommend!

This place is a gem! The lamb rogan josh was bursting with flavor, perfectly paired with fluffy white rice, and the complimentary papadums were insanely yummy—crisp and addictive! The house wine (two glasses) hit the spot. Service was fast, polite, and welcoming. The venue’s spacious, right on the road (you can’t miss it!), and great for disabled access. Not sure about parking, but it’s not crazy expensive for the quality. Highly recommend—almost a perfect 5!
