It was good but not great. The service was good. My food was good but other people’s stake was overcooked and had a lot of fat. Also I asked for a loaded potato and there was no cheese when I asked about she said she we don’t do that…

Eating lunch here while on vacation was a good experience. Our orders were all correct and service was excellent. The clam chowder was amazing! Would definitely come here again.

I find the food here pretty mediocre. It feels dated and isn’t terribly flavorful. The clam chowder is more of a loose soup which is a shame. Over the years I’ve had a couple of iffy dining experiences ranging from people being very loud in the restaurant (not the fault of the staff) to some inattentive service.
The best experience I had here was during that massive storm in ’07 when our power had been out for over a week and this was the nearest restaurant with a generator. The only thing remarkable about their food at that point was that it was warm and not oatmeal cooked on a gas grill.
Compared to the great dining choices a few minutes north in Astoria, I just can’t recommend this place. The only reason I came here as often as I did was because they used to have a discount night (maybe they still do?) any my grandma liked to go on those days. That, and the owners live near me and they’re nice people in my experience, so my family likes to support their business

I’ve been here twice, and I actually like this restaurant. I see some people love the clam chowder and some call it watery. It’s definitely less thick than a standard chowder but I enjoyed that. It still had a lot of flavor, and the clams were so fresh with very little grit. The side salad was surprisingly filling with fresh shrimp on it. They also make their own honey mustard which was awesome. I got my sole fried which made it too rich but my husband’s grilled halibut was so fresh (but probably needed a hint of seasoning). I always left this place satisfied. They have some minor adjustments to make if they want an outstanding restaurant, but this place is still a delicious, quaint place to eat with good service.

I’m pretty hard to please, the food and service was super good. I am in love. I had surf and turf with steamed crab, steak melted in my mouth, crab was so good, and the waitress was helpful and friendly. I don’t leave tips, I left her $15. I love to cook, so finding some place food wise that makes me happy is so rare. Tiffany was our server and she is amazing

Best fries I ever had. Waitstaff wasn’t rude but hurried. Didn’t talk much, and when waitress poured our water half went on the floor. When realizing she was pouring on the floor stated,” oh well it’s only water” made my think might be intoxicated somehow. The burger wasn’t bad yet I ordered medium rare and got well done. Might go back sometime if they get it together. The decorating was fantastic.

Michelle made our experience fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients used in certain dishes. Her warm personality plus the fresh seafood made our family’s dining experience fantastic! Best clam chowder ever! We left full, but not over stuffed. I’m very sensitive to foods at restaurants, and I left without a sick stomach. I believe this restaurant cooks mostly from scratch. Would definitely dine here again if we find ourselves in this part of the country again!

Food was alright. Place looked busy from outside but was a ghost town when we entered. Mostly senior crowd which is great except this place is located on a fairly busy coastal route. Staff was polite but considering there was only two other tables seated, they were scarce. Refills for water or ice tea etc. was offered only after meal was done ..and we had to walk to cashier to pay our bill to leave after patiently waiting for some time.
