Doodlum’s Barbecue & Fruit Stand is a family owned and operated dine in BBQ restaurant, with an open air produce market attached. We have a full bar, with a large selection of beers and cocktails. We also serve homemade peach and strawberry ice cream and milkshakes. We carry a variety of fresh produce.

We ate lunch there on Feb 12 and was not disappointed. Our server, Kate, was extremely friendly and helpful. She recommended the brisket and it was fantastic. The peach baked beans we a nice surprise, you would not think it would be good, but it was exceptional. The fries were some of the best shoestring fries I’ve had. The only reason I gave 4 stars for service was due to wait time to get our food. Fortunately it was worth the wait. I’ve cooked barbecue for close to 30 years and this was some of the best I’ve tasted. I will definitely go back.

The brisket was tender and delicious, especially with their sauce. The peach beans were an unexpected highlight – full of flavor and definitely worth ordering. I finished off with their peach ice cream, which was the perfect way to cool down on a hot Georgia day. Their service and staff is great and very attentive.
If you’re passing through Woodbury or nearby, this is a solid spot to celebrate with some good BBQ.

Woodbury BBQ joint. Good fried pickles, the ranch sauce was not even a good representation of dressing as an accompaniment to the pickles. Brisket was cooked perfectly. The baked potato was overcooked and old. Green beans were good…nice color and texture. Peach pie crust was supposed to be fried, it was under baked at best. The peach filling was good. I was a part of a party of 3 for dinner on a Sunday evening. The service was good, server was attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere is where this place shines, clean, well decorated. For the price, the eating utensils (fork) was the cheapest flattened fork. The Brunswick stew my other guest had was bland. The BBQ sauces had weird flavors. The mustard BBQ sauce was the best of the 2 sauces. The BBQ had a distinctive ginger flavor. Please do better sauces. The peach ice cream, they make in-house and has a soft serve consistency it too had a strange flavor I can not put my finger on. Now, you would think for on average of $30.00 per person this would be better. But, Woodbury and neighboring cities are at the mercy of whatever is open on Saturday.

So good! Doodlum’s BBQ absolutely hit the spot. The pulled pork was tender and loaded with flavor, and every side we tried was flavorful and would recommend: mac & cheese, slaw, potato salad, stew, beans… all amazing.
Bar and it’s drinks are a nice touch at BBQ… cocktails are a little over priced at $12-$13 but strong so that helps

The food and service was excellent. I ordered the bbq cheese fries as my meal. There was enough for 2-3 meals. The brisket was superb. Best brisket that I’ve had in a long time. Some of the items seemed pricey for what it is but that old adage you pay for what you get is true. They have homemade ice cream and desserts as well. I’ll be back for the brisket and ice cream.

I ordered the Bacon BBQ Burger, and it was out of this world perfectly cooked, loaded with flavor, and just the right amount of smoky BBQ goodness. What really made the experience stand out was Ashli’s attention to detail. She checked in at just the right moments, was friendly without being overbearing, and made the meal feel extra special. Her service turned a simple burger outing into a memorable dining experience. If you’re looking for a server who goes above and beyond, Ashli is hands down the best. I’ll definitely be asking for her again next time!

Our first time dining here and won’t be our last. We had the incredible opportunity to have Cloie C allow us to enjoy delicious food, but a joyful, fun experience! She was an absolute blast,, and provided impeccable service, recommending menu items of which we ordered many. The ribs were good, the chicken sandwich was off the charts, the french fries we could not get enough of, salad. Barra is fresh and tasty, but that peach salsa… Was everything!. Had a great experience! Kaitlin was a great server with a very positive attitude and quick service. The food was amazing especially the Peach ice cream. The only thing I would change up is the lighting. It’s a little bright in there seems more of an ambient light type of establishment
