Just stopped in quickly. I’ve been waiting for this place to open for a long time. Just got the beef pho to go on my lunch break, All the donuts looked amazing. I will have to stop back for the apple fritters they are huge.! The beef pho was really good ! They gave me everything I would need for condiments Just like if I was to have it there. The rice noodles were cooked perfectly. The beef taste really good and tender, the meatballs were wonderful and I enjoyed the broth. You could tell that it was simmered for a long time and very, very tasty. On a cold day this was just so perfect! Can’t wait to go back.

Interesting concept and great friendly service and attentive staff. We came for the pho, and we do not recommend the pho (only long-boiled beef broth, no clean herbs or spices flavor emanate. Too dark in color & too pricey. Plenty of meat but too thickly cut); we recommend donuts and ice cream. We didn’t try the bagels.

For starters you can tell that they are still learning so be patient, even so they are still providing great service. We ordered the Pho and The Hungry man bagel meal. This came with a big omelette of 3 eggs with your choice of veggie (I got a mix of onion, bell peppers and mushrooms) and cheddar cheese, your choice of meat and choice of bagel with cream cheese. The omelette was yummy and super filling, could have been saltier but that’s just my preference. The bagel was more like a sub roll shape?, but it did taste like a bagel and is good.
Now the Pho is definitely more on the sweeter side, not what we’re used to but it was still flavorful and really good. Not your traditional Vietnamese Pho, however I’d still go back for it because it was just that good.

As someone who’s had lots of pho at different restaurants, the beef pho here was probably the sweetest pho broth I ever had… I do understand different pho broths exist but most places I’ve gone to had a broth that wasn’t so sweet but more savory and a bit more clear than the one here. So from personal preference, it was too sweet, along with the peanut sauce that came with the fresh spring rolls. I do think someone who’s never had pho may like it though!
Pricing wise it was also a bit pricey (15.99 for regular beef pho and 17.99 for the special) for the amount of pho as well (the amount of noodle just seemed too little for the price). The portion may be enough for some people, but the same price for the beef pho is usually for a large size bowl at pho found in other towns in NC (Jacksonville, Wilmington). It is also understandable since there isn’t many pho options in New Bern, but just slightly disappointing.
I do think it’s great that there’s more Asian food options opening in the town and highly respect the owners for combining American food and Vietnamese food so that people might try something new when coming in for donuts or bagels. I highly encourage the average person to try out pho for the first time here (but also in other places when you have the chance to). I probably won’t come back for the pho, but might try the other stuff next time!

I called ahead and ordered a bacon egg and cheese everything bagel. I didn’t know what to expect but WOW this was amazing! You could tell the ingredients are real and fresh! The service was pleasant and quick. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely add DonutPhoBagels to my morning routine and I’m excited to explore their diverse menu!

This place is right near my house and ive been waiting for it since February, the food was definitely worth the wait!!! I had the BLT bagel sandwich and strawberry smoothie, it was all so good and I’m definitely going back!!! The decor and atmosphere is a littleee lacking but thats understandable since they just opened, I care more about the food than the vibe anyways.

I purchased the fresh donuts today & cinnamon twists, by the drive-thru, during the torrential ️ & high winds. The pastry was excellent! Deliciously fresh,tasty & nicely sweet. Definitely professional, courteous Staff; pleasant & smiling. Will ✔️ Out the Chicken BLT, for sure next time….

The customer service was AMAZING but the beef pho wasn’t really to my liking, the beef broth was a little too strong. I did enjoy the donut and the bagel! The spring roll was quite interesting I would say, the sauce was too salty as well.

This place is diverse w different options for food. And all of it is absolutely delicious and worth your money. The owner Aaron is passionate about this place and is super nice. Coming here is welcoming. In the mornings I enjoy eating a donut or bagel with my coffee and in the evenings/ lunch I have the Pho. Which is also amazing.
The best part there is a drive through if you don’t want to dine in. Always a 10/10 experience here.
