We stopped by to congratulate them on taking home the title of Best Donuts in West County!
Since 1993, Donut Palace has been serving up the kind of fluffy, sweet perfection that keeps West County coming back.
We had to make some tough-but sweet choices to fill our donut box, and honestly, by the end of the day (well, morning ), we were the ones who came out winning!

4/6/25 The Donut Palace is fantastic. It is simply the best. We love their Old Fashioned, long john, and apple fritter (which is huge). But my favorite is the Bismarck filled with what they call white fluff. My wife loves their glazed donut, but with so many other options I never have room left for a basic glazed. While we didn’t have any on this visit, their cake donuts are always good as well. They don’t have gimmicky combinations and unique flavors like some donut shops, but if you want really good traditional donuts The Donut Palace is the best.

Donut Palace is a nice local donut place. It’s not a big chain, so the fare is more of your classic donuts. The apple fritters are fantastic. They’ll fill donuts to order with custard, jelly, etc. Folks behind the counter are always quick and helpful. This is a donut place, folks. It’s not a fancy white glove establishment. They have good quality donuts and fast efficient folks to get your order. That’s all you can ask for in my book!

Honestly this is the best local place to buy freshly made donuts without fancy adds on or weird flavors… Saturday mornings are so busy the line gets out but they are quick and friendly. Last time we went my son accidentally drop the box and all the donuts were ont he floor and the owner gave us some extra donuts for Free! Local, friendly and delicious!

100% the best donut shop in town! Donut Palace is amazing, and the staff is absolutely wonderful! The owner Ann took such good care of my family during covid. We called in our order every Sunday before watching church on TV, and she was the best! I love this place so much!

These are the best donuts and the Apple Fritters are AMAZING!!!!
We lived in the area 20 something years ago and knew this place was good. But after moving to different states and not being able to find good donuts, mostly just the Dunkin chains. . And all the apple fritters we find other places are more just like a donut not a good fritter.
We come back to Donut Palace every time we are in town. The apple fritters are always excellent!
You used to be able to buy them in 1/4 or 1/2’s but not anymore. But then again why would you! Warning! You will keep wanting more!

If your looking for excellent traditional donuts, this is the place! Donuts are large, first rate quality ingredients and no cutting corners! The custard filled (my favorite) I can tell is made on the premise everyday! The custard donuts are filled to capacity as are all the other filled donuts there. There is filling in practically every bite! The apple fritter and cinnamon bun are favorites too. No greasy residue in the box and the glaze is smooth, light and not gritty. I love that they offer the types of donuts we grew up with. Great for parties, meetings, office etc… This place offers a vast array of donut types to please everyone!

Open from 6am-12, but I just went in at 9am and they were basically out of donuts, why even be open for 6hours if you only make enough donuts to last till 8am?

Definitely get here early! I got in at 830am and they were sold out of Bismarks and I bought the last Old Fashioned! You’ve got to try their Apple Fritters! They are gargantuan and delicious!
