We had a large order so we communicated through Facebook a few days ahead of time. Katy made sure our order was exactly what we wanted. The order was ready on time and everything was delicious! These donuts are the best. The pigs in a blanket have cheese, and hot dog wrapped in a warm fresh croissant- so yummy! The eggs sandwiches are also delicious ❤️

Donut Palace charges a 3-4% fee for debit cards– I would like to clarify that I am referring to DEBIT cards. A business can charge a fee for using a CREDIT card, but it is against federal law to charge a fee for DEBIT and PREPAID DEBIT cards. I work for one of the major financial processing companies in America (which includes, you guessed it, card processing), so I do have the credentials to speak on this.
I went to Donut Palace today, and my bill came out to $5.77… yet my receipt showed a charge of $6.00– This comes out to be a 3.85% fee. I also noticed there was not additional line item on the receipt showing the fee (which I am pretty confident there should be a line item showing the itemized fee). I spoke to the owner about this, and she advised that the card processor automatically charges a fee for any card used (which I do not believe her). Either way, the business or the card processor is in violation of federal law by charging fees for debit cards. It may not seem like much, but a nearly 4% inflated cost for a debit card user, who should not be charged a fee at all in the first place, is not acceptable. I believe businesses ought to take a high ethical stance when conducting business… and it doesn’t appear this business is doing that.
I will be contacting the card processor tomorrow to discuss this, but ultimately, this will be reported over to Visa and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to look into. In an age where we are nickeled and dimed for everything, I think it is doing a great service to a community when someone (someone who knows the in’s and out’s of financial processing and the associated laws) will stand up and make others aware of it.
It may be small potatoes, but it is the principle of the matter. I won’t go back for that reason.
EDIT: I spoke directly with their card processor, and they advised me that they do not charge any fees automatically. They said that all fees are charged at the discretion of the business or their financial institution. So right there, the owner lied to me in that regard.

I frequent this donut shop whenever I’m not out of town working. Nice selection of the usual donuts which they make fresh every single day, nothing frozen like some of those big city chain shops. Great friendly staff, even have a drive thru which was convenient during the COVID peak. Highly recommend but get there early or your favorite donuts may be sold out.

Would like to give 5 starts but they are basically closed all the time. Never a set schedule. My 3 year old loves donuts and we try to make it an every Tuesday thing to get donuts.pull up today and of course they are closed. Look on their Facebook and you’ll see the only thing they ever post is being closed. Great donuts just not reliable to be Open.

We held a Junior/Senior Pajama Breakfast after Prom this year and knew we needed DONUTS!!! I love donuts! Donut Palace ranks at the top in quality and customer service. I would go as far as to say they are better than Krispy Kreme. Donut Palace donuts are always fresh and don’t have an oil taste that big chain donut shops have. Thank you again for helping to make our night a hit!

Flies were visible on the food. The selection was not as good as the one in Mountain Home. Doughnuts were subpar at best.

Oh my goodness! I’ve been here now for five months, and just was asked to pick some of these donuts up. I ordered a few more for myself as well.

Absolutely love, their classic glazed donut. taste Takes me back to my childhood every time I get the donut holes. Will always keep going back to the donut Palace for as long as they’re open anyway.
