We love Donut King! This has been our go-to donut spot for every birthday since my kids were little—and now my oldest is 12. It’s a tradition at this point.
The King Donut is AMAZING, and the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and so patient. You can truly feel how much they care about their customers, especially during busy mornings.
The only thing I’d love to see added is the option to leave a tip through the POS system. Tips are currently cash-only, and let’s be real—most of us don’t carry cash anymore. I would absolutely love the ability to add a tip to my bill because these employees work so hard and deserve the world.
Highly recommend Donut King—great donuts, great people, and a place that’s part of our family memories.

I was craving donuts so I did a quick search for the best in Orlando (this includes outer Orlando) and Donut King kept topping the charts.
The reviews do not lie! The donuts are much larger than your standard Dunkin donuts. The toppings are all fresh and so much flavor in the icing. Also, $12.99 for a dozen donuts of this quality and size? Cannot beat it.
The sales attendant was friendly and quick!
They did not have any apple fritters when I came in the afternoon. Gives me another reason to return!

I’ve been to many mom and pop donut shops, and while they are certainly a cut above chain shops in quality and flavor, I found the donuts we ordered around mid afternoon to be cold and a bit stale. I don’t think there is enough foot traffic to go just any time of day and expect top notch, so probably go early and I would guess they will be much fresher.

First time here and i love their donuts! Honestly the donuts are more on the bready side, but its not too sweet and so soft! It’s way bigger and better than Krispy Kreme or Dunkin in my opinion but price is cheaper! $12.99 a dozen is a great deal! They also got speacialty donuts that are hugeeee and just under $3! We’ll be coming back for sure!
Only thing i noticed is the store is a bit messy on the side there are lots of piled up empty boxes. Floor needs to be moped, tables wiped, the employees need more hygiene like wearing hairnets and changing gloves regularly, i hope management takes this more seriously. No offense but the guy staff in the morning looks like he just got out of bed and go straight to work without proper hygiene, however he is very approacheable and patient, customer service is good.

Donuts made for giants! No, seriously, some of the donuts here are massive!! But don’t fret, there’s something for us average sized humans .
Donuts purchased: Maple Bacon, Sour Cream, and Pumpkin Cake, a Maple Bacon Log (clearly I love Maple Bacon and if you’ve seen my other reviews you’ll know about our donut entanglement), and a huge apple fritter.
The donuts are really good for what I’ve tasted so far in the Orlando area. They are by far superior to DD and other mainstream options. The size and price are very reasonable too.
Doughy is how I’d describe the classic donuts, and I tend to enjoy a more airy, less dense donut. The cakey donuts were the sour cream and pumpkin cake. Those were very flavorful and soft with a nice glaze to donut ratio….well, the sour cream one had a lot of glaze, and if you like simple and sweet, that’s a good option! If you love pumpkin spice, you have to try that one because all the pumpkin spice flavors are there!
