Best donuts around. The home of the famous chop suey. My personal favorite! If you haven’t been you are missing out big time!!
They have coffee, soda, and milk (white & chocolate). There are a few tables & a booth. There was a steady stream of donut loving people when we were there,(9:30ish) on a Sunday morning.
Hurry in before they are sold out!

I tried Donut King for the first time this morning. The service was very quick and friendly, and the donuts are incredible! It’s rare I can find a donut that has that slightly crispy outside yet a nice fluffy center. The strawberry filled donut was my favorite, it had the perfect amount of filling so I got some in each bite. I will definitely be a regular !

My visit was delightful! It was just the way I wanted to start my early morning out. Everyone was very nice and they even saw me waiting outside before they were open and welcomed me in 5 minutes early.
In addition to the excellent service the doughnuts were still warm! My favorite, along with the rest of St. Charles I’m sure, was the chop suey. The yeast donuts were soft and pillowy and the old fashioned had a thin glazed crunch that gave way to the pleasantly dense but soft inside that old fashioned donuts are known for.

Donut King is the best! We’ve gotten dine in, take out, & delivery. Their donuts are so tasty & their service is excellent. They are nut free! They also do custom orders – they accommodated for my son’s first birthday & had the best customer service!

Nice donut shop right off main drag. Easy in, easy out. They have the standards but what I liked was that they offered smaller versions of the big donuts in case you just want to nibble or you’re on a restrictive diet like I am. Their eclairs also have real cream and not the pudding style like you get in most donut shops. Coffee was ok.

Our donuts were delicious. Had almost a crispy flake texture to them which you don’t really get from other bakeries. Only advice is to get there early! They were out of most donuts when we arrived but we still had a decent variety. Definitely will be back earlier next time.
