Hands down the best donuts I have ever tasted! I wish Donut Haus had a location in KC! You can get classic cake and raised donuts or unique fritters and HUGE cinnamon rolls. So good! This place is connected to a gas station, but they have a sign out front by the gas pumps.

Donut Haus is located in Estes Park within the Sinclair gas station shop on the way to Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) if you’re coming from the southeast. My friend and I were a bit confused because we only saw the gas pumps when following GPS but just go to the back of the gas station pumps and enter the building. We decided to stop by to get our donut fix in prior to hiking at RMNP and we are glad we did! The donuts tasted fresh and were nice and soft without being too sweet. The guy there was personable and fun to talk to as well.

This was our first trip back to Estes since the old location was closed down for the road construction. The donuts were delicious! The location at the Sinclair station is a little wild, but it serves it’s purpose. We stop at least once on every visit. My wife loves the raspberry fritters and I’m a fan of the turtle.

A friend of mine recommended this place. Definitely a popular spot! We decided to stop in at 11am the first day just to see if they had anything, and they were sold out! The next day my husband went around 8am and he got there just in time to get the last cheesecake roll! It was a large donut and very yummy!

UPDATE 6/14/25 they no longer have gluten free donuts – big sad
This is the donut spot for gluten free folks ! They have mini-cake donuts!!! I was told by an employee that two of the owners are celiac and pride themselves on offering gluten free donuts! (So they understand the needed precautions & the gluten free donuts are already packaged and ready to go). Delicious probably the best gluten free cake donuts I have had! Will DEFINITELY come back when visiting this area again! They are located inside the Sinclair gas station don’t miss out!!!

I stopped in the gas station to fill-up and was so pleasantly surpised to find Donut Haus! Today they had applesauce and some cinnamon sugar donuts – they were so so so good! Definitely recommend this place for a sugar rush after a good hike!

There is only one thing you can do as you pack up and head out of Estes park early in the morning- grab a couple of donuts from the famous Donut Haus. Their apple fritters are maybe the best I’ve ever had, but all their other offerings are fresh and delicious!
