Worse dim sun ever

This morning, my husband went to this place and got us the dum sun.

The dum sun is corrosive, and then this dumpling is like a rubber band; there is no way to bite it at all. The smell is bad. As an Asian, I could not believe my own eyes and taste for this; the food had been outside the refrigerator for several days. Interestingly, my husband, who is caucasian, told me the same experience after he tasted the dum sun as in the pictures. Oh, my gosh. How would the owner want to sell this food to her customers?

The lady talks fast to confuse you and changes prices when she wants. She acts friendly but those buying need to be alert or she’ll overcharge you especially on debit or credit!

Not only regular donuts, they serves Chinese dim sum and Burmese foods & items.
First time visit and bought for $30 of food in photo 1 & 2: in photo 1 – those included juicy pork Siu Mei + chicken Siu Mei, 1 pork lotus rice + 2 chicken lotus rice, shrimp dumplings, 1 egg tart, 1 pork sweet rice; photo 2: stupidly large super size 4 x pork buns – pork mixed with very less veggies with Chinese sausage, portion of egg and mushroom.

I haven’t been here in like five years now so I took a trip here just to get some good dim sum like pork siu mai and shrimp rice rolls and the owner hooks me up for three boxes of dim sum and some sweet treats too for 50.00 the food was just as good as I remember it too. I will be back. Thank you so much for remembering me since it was great to see you too. Thank you for the pork and salted egg porridge treat too much love

ALERT: They FALSELY advertise their prices, and the cost changes depending on who the customer is. Different people are charged different amounts for the same item, which is misleading and unfair.

My father is a former customer, and I was purchasing food on his behalf. The Burmese food normally costs $7 per order, but the owner charged me $10 for the same item. When I questioned the price, she insisted it was $10, even though it has previously been $7.

Incredible spontaneous stop on our bike ride around the Bay Area. The owner was enthusiastically hospitable, setting us up with a selection of pastries and dumplings, and moving chairs outside so we could sit with our bikes. The pork rib bun was one of the best things we ate on our whole trip. Highly recommend.

Cute little shop with donuts, dim sum, and some off-menu dishes (congee and fish noodles). Affordable and quick eats.

Best sesame balls even compared to chinatowns elsewhere, excellent variety, just say no to the pushy upsell and you’ll be fine 🙂 , been coming here for over 20 years.

I’ve been coming to this place for a long time and use to really love it. I learned to get used to the boss lady’s pushyness of buying dumplings that I don’t like and learning to count my change and read my receipts after leaving there because you never know what she’s charging you. I learned to deal with it because her shumai used to be good. But that past couple times I’ve went there, the quality has been AWFUL. Soggy, smelling old, and tasting like it went bad and she’s still selling it? Wow. There’s another time she said if I wanted to try ‘crispy’ wonton and I said sure! When I got home it was just wonton that had been sitting out for too long and the skin hardened. This lady is something else. Never coming back here ever again.

The fantuan are amazing. With the crunchy fried bits and savory vegetables, it’s an experience. Also, the milk tea is wonderful. Since it has almost no sweetener, you get the original tea and milk taste that is incomperable. We plan on visiting as often as we can.
