The lady who answered the phone & then transferred me to the Deli was polite & Freindly as was the gentleman who picked up the phone in Deli & took my order. However the young girl at the cash register in the Deli was not. Management should take note bc with as much competition as there is in a pretty small area , I know if I have the choice between an establishment with polite employees and one that does not ,I’ll take my business to the one with a positive experience every time. The Bbq and sides were delicious & almost made up for the cashier’s attitude.

Searched high and low for some sausage without pork for a friend and finally found it here thankfully. Everyone was nice and I got everything I needed, including a cooler to take the meat home! Highly recommend!

Don’s is a great place to get boudin, cracklins, and Louisiana food with a “Southern Hospitality” atmosphere.

The restrooms were super clean…
Finally had the chance to stop by Don’s. The crackling was a room temp, overcooked, super dry and hard, absolute disappointment. It’s after 3:30 so I’m sure they were trying to get rid of what they had left over from lunch. I recommend cooking in smaller batches. Hubby said the boudin wasn’t all that for $7.50 a pound. Over a decade of hype for mediocrity.

It was perfect. Mind u I went a long time ago, il show the prices of the 2017 price board. I still have swamp dust and just finished off my all purp seasoning and I am trying to figure out a way to knock down the swamp dust to the aps. Best meat place i ever been. Says a va man.

Order boudin and hogdogs. Hotdogs were awful But maybe it was because the grill was closed and that was all left. They have a large variety of seasoning meats to cook at very affordable prices. The store is beautiful inside and out. They have fresh skins chicken and pork well crackling. Very good also! Staff was very friendly and helpful and some very beautiful young lady! This is a must stop if you in the area.

i always stop at dons every time passing through lafayette. the food is great, every time i go they are always busy which ofc is great for the business. however, the workers are always rude. specifically the ones handling the cracklins and registers in the front. i don’t think i’ve ever gotten a smile or a how you doing during my visit. i’m not sure if it’s because they are busy and are tired or what, but even during busy times please learn customer service. if you don’t want to work, just leave. simple.

I wish there was a Dons in Texas! We stop here every time we go to Florida and every time on the way back. Best chicken cracklins I’ve ever had! Incredible boudin and so much more! Love this place and couldn’t possibly exaggerate the tasty quality of their food and market selections.

Wow! Great find on our way to New Orleans! I recommend that you stop in. If you stop in on your way back home you can get all kinds of meats and specialty items! We also found some perfect gift items made in Louisiana! We highly recommend. Plus, you have to try the crackings! Don’t eat too many or they will make you run to the bathroom!!

Great place, my go-to when I get a load going through Scott (Trucker from PA). Boudin balls are a must, and of course the chicken and pork cracklin. And I always pick up some fresh Cajun meat to put in my slow cooker in the truck. The smiles from the Staff is always a ➕️ plus. Has an area for truck parking.
