Always a pleasant meal with friendly staff. Pizza , salad and stromboli are all excellent. Pretzel bites are amazing.
Great food, comfortable atmosphere for grandchildren or just the two of us. Home town hospitality with real table clothes and dinning utensils.

During our initial visit to Don’s Pizza, coinciding with our trip to the Darke County Fair, we encountered some notable aspects. We arrived at the restaurant and were informed that the dining room would be closing in an hour. Additionally, we were advised against ordering pasta due to a 30-minute preparation time. While placing our order, we overheard a staff member exclaiming, “I’m done! Cut it off!”, which did not contribute positively to our sense of welcome. Despite this, we opted to stay as our children were already seated.

One redeeming feature was the ambiance, which I personally found appealing. The restaurant maintained a clean environment, but the overall sense of friendliness was lacking.

Regarding the food, our order consisted of an 18″ pizza with pepperoni as the sole topping, along with a serving of cheesy bread as an appetizer. The pizza reached our table nearly 40 minutes after placing the order. The pizza had a thin crust, which I prefer, and it appeared to be adequately cooked. Regrettably, the positive attributes ended there. The pizza’s flavor fell short, with the sauce lacking in taste. The cheesy bread arrived with cold nacho cheese sauce and a side of pizza sauce, both of which were notably plain.

In terms of pricing, it was reasonable, but the overall dining experience left much to be desired, resulting in disappointment.

We ordered the taco pizza and pretzel bites. Took a long wait but it was a Saturday evening. Not bad food. Surprised to receive 12 oven baked bites. Got two cold mini tubs of ‘cheese’.

The pizza was a fairly thin crust and the
lettuce and tomato toppings were falling off. Get a fork!

I would go back but try a different pizza, the pretzel bites were good and much better than the deep fried ones other places serve.

Pizza is really top notch. Love the way they dice the vegetables up into nice small cubes. Bread sticks were still frozen in the middle when they brought them out. It was explained their normal oven they use for bread sticks is broken so they are still trying to get it done correctly with this other oven. They got us a new batch which was great. Love they serve pepsi products. It’s order at the counter and they bring it to you. For the atmosphere I would say…it’s hotter than 7 kinds of hell in there. Not sure if they have air conditioning but be prepared to be warm while dining in.

Probably the best pizzeria in Greenville. The food has been great, no matter what I have gotten, and the staff have always been friendly. While the restaurant dining area may be a little light on atmosphere, that really isn’t what you are there for.

Stayed at an airbnb in Greenville to visit family. Ordered from Don’s. Where we come from – food is expensive, subpar, and they never get the order right. Very happy with Don’s. Order was right, price affordable and food was great – alfredo and dessert pizza is amazing. I wish I knew the delivery guys name, he was so nice. Miss living in a small town. Thank you Don’s!

My son had just had his first TBall game, and we wanted to get pizza after the game. Walked in around 7:15 and took a seat at a table. I went up to order a few pizzas, and I got told that they close in 40 minutes and that we could not dine in. I said your door says you close at 9pm, but I was told that since they were not busy, they would be closing early.
Doesn’t make sense to me, but I did order a couple pizza’s to take home.
The pizza was good.
Be careful if you want to dine in. They may just close early with no notice because their hours of operation are not right.

Went there for the first time Saturday night. I’ve ate a lot of pizza in my life, and Don’s was way up there! Absolutely delicious. They were slammed busy because it was the night of the horse parade, so it took a while, but that is to be expected. I would rather wait on good pizza than get mediocre pizza fast!
