I’ve been coming here since it was Jr’s (in Oak Forest). I’m so disappointed, food was awful!!
Fries were cold and tasted like dirty oil and no salt. They changed their polish sausage meat and it tasted like dog food!! Waited about 10 minutes and it wasn’t busy at all. Floors were so sticking it was difficult to walk. Bathrooms were disgusting!! I’m so sad to not have this place to go to anymore!

We use to live nearby and the food and services were great but we stopped by on Saturday and the food was still okay but the service was terrible. We literally waited 10 minutes for 2 hot dogs and a fry. We never waited that long before People were complaining about how slow this restaurant had become. One lady was getting a corn dog had waited longer than us. It’s a shame because we always enjoyed going there.

Updated. Tried Don’s again… I ordered 4 hotdogs, large fry, 2 cheese cups, and an onion ring… paid $30!!!!! What the heck?!? My son couldn’t eat the hot dogs. When I looked why?! … I seen how wrinkly the dog was. Gross!!!
So, I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this joint again. Gross food, over priced, and the food literally sucks!!!
Came here after a long day of work for a quick dinner. Was interested in the 2 Hot Dog Special with fry. (No drink). It was $9.99. See picture?! I ended up paying $11.42 for this $9.99 Two Hot Dog Special. After I paid and realizing the numbers don’t match, I asked one of the kids.. and he said that they must not have updated it in the register. I’m like ?? Apparently what I’m thinking, is that I paid with my card (doesn’t state on my receipt that I was charged card surcharge). But their prices do not match. No wonder why they are always closed. The kids there don’t know customer service very well. No common sense either.

Would never try or recommend this place again. Very disgusting. The inside was so dirty which immediately threw us off. Got the food and was also disgusting. The hot dog was literally white. Ate a few fries which were cold and threw everything away and left. Truly felt like we’d end up with food poisoning eating here……

My son loves this place but I really don’t. There were dead bugs (and a few live ones) on the counters, and the at least two of the pop options didn’t work. The fries are good though.

The floor is always sticky. I was just in this place yesterday , and it will be my last time!!! The food was cold again, the help left the front unattended for awhile , as a customer was waiting a while. The floor behind the counter to the right of it had puddles of water. This place is going down hill fast!

This is a decent hot dog joint. The main thing I love here is the chilitos. This is the spin from the old jrito from Jrs Hotdogs. They are my absolute favorite. It’s basically a cup with Doritos on the bottom with chili cheese onion tomato. Hot dogs are decent. They have really nice specials. I have posted pictures of everything.

Have been going here for years and it has drastically gone downhill in the past year. The inside is filthy. At least an inch of dust on the ceiling fans, smudged windows, crumbs and papers under the back counter, dirty floorboards and sticky floor tiles. Just disgusting. Pop machine out of Pepsi and buns are hard on the edges more often than not. Won’t be going back.

We have been ordering from Don’s in Orland Park since they have opened. This will be our last time. Over the last few months, the hot dog buns have been stale, but I continued to give them one more chance several times.
Today I ordered 5 hot dogs for my family, and all 5 hot dogs were cold and buns were hard on all 5.
The kids working there do their best, but whoever the guy/manager is working there needs to stop walking around pretending to punch the refrigerator and stop swearing. He has a long goatee and did nothing as the kids were the only ones working.
This place has gone downhill fast. I will never order from Dons again!

Tried to give Dons one last shot after a bad experience last year. Walked in and my feet instantly started sticking to the floor. If you can’t mop your floors, you’re not cleaning your kitchen. I think a lot of the recent reviews reflect how poorly this place is being managed. Good memories here years ago, but good bye.
