Summer time 7/10/20 My Husband and I decided on a whim to try Don’s Drive in. Hope in the wall place. The building is run down and dated. This was during the pandemic time. We ordered via the walk up window. Series pretty prompt. I had the avocado mushroom burger which was a pretty big size. It was delicious! My Husband ordered the mushroom burger meal. We substituted the drink for a banana pineapple milkshake. This was yummy. My husband , his burger was good. We substituted the fries for onions rings. We additionally ordered the breaded fish and chips to share. The chips were the old fashioned crinkle type. That was ok. All in all, everything was pretty good. I especially enjoyed my avocado mushroom burger. We would return again some time.

Food is very tasty. Portions are VERY large. Lots of items to choose from. Shakes are very good, with lots of flavors to choose from. Banana shake had pieces of banana in it. Bacon burger was loaded with bacon. Lots of different sauces, all very good. Restaurant is clean and staff are very nice. Would definitely come back

Stopped here after a event at the fairgrounds. Burgers were on point and had the perfect amount of toppings and condiments. My child absolutely loved the nuggets. Not pictured but the milkshakes were absolutely delicious 9/10. The thiccness was near perfect. Highly recommend stopping here instead of blowing a load of money at the overpriced food at the fairgrounds.

We had the fish & chips. They used a panco to bread the fish, making it very crispy, for my taste to crispy for this dish, holding in the oil, greasy . Recommendation, a tempora or light batter, the fish itself tasted fresh, was good. The French fry’s way to salty! Oh, if u serve this dish always have a malt vinegar. The service was helpful and pleasant. Air conditioner for inside seating.

If you are in the downtown puyallup area and are looking for a good place for a good burger then look no further. Don’s drive-in is right across from the fairgrounds next to 711 and is a must go to place to eat. They have a good selection of burgers, seafood ( fish and chips), chicken strips and chicken burgers to choose from. I personally ordered the monster burger which was a 1/2lb bacon cheeseburger with the works and it was a very good burger that was made to order and everything was fresh. I enjoyed my burger with a large fry and a strawberry shake both of which were good as well. The frys were hot and crispy, just how frys should be. Now lets talk price. They did have to raise their prices due to the increase of food prices due to the pandemic so I ended up paying 40 bucks for two monster burger combos and a cheeseburger kids meal. This is not a cheap eat spot but the food is delicious and you get a good portion of food that is cooked fresh. I would say if you dont mind the prices then you must stop and try Don’s drive-in. I give this a solid 5 out of 5 stars easy.

Stopped by for some burgers. Man this one is a good one right here. I came in munchies full effect. I ordered a bacon burger, fries, and soda. The burger was . The fries were crisp and fresh. The workers were friendly and our food was made in a reasonable amount of time. Will be stopping by when in the area. Better than the McDonald’s fastfood.

I took my grandsons here. $45 later I found the burger bland in flavor, could not taste the very thin meat patty. My grandson wanted onion rings but I traded him because he didn’t like them. Neither of them finished their food. They did drink the shakes, the chocolate shake which I had was lacking flavor as well. If you want to spend a lot on tasteless food this is the place.

I’ve been living in the Puyallup area for several years now and have driven past this place countless times. While out and about, we decided to give it a try after having a hard time deciding what to eat for dinner(not uncommon). First off, great location right off Meridian and the freeway, plus it’s in front of the fair grounds. It is super easy to get to. The lady taking our order was nice and respectful, my wife and I both ordered the “Don Burger” I got the 1/2 pound while did the 1/4 pound, an order of the crinkle fry’s, and a fountain soda all for under $30. The burger was ok, I have had better and I have worse. The patties were a little on the dry side but other then it was just your regular cheese burger. The fry’s were great, they were hot so they were fresh. It was a nice a day so we sat out front and watched the cars drive by while we ate. Will we eat here again, probably since we try to support smaller ma and pa businesses. Will I crave it, probably not. But if you are looking for an easy place to get to right off the freeway(512), then I would recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite to eat.
