This place has a great story behind them and even better food. We picked out the $20 2 person meal deal and after taxes still spend under $22. The amount of food we got was outrageous and the quality phenomenal! I’m from the south and am an avid barbeque eater but this place is better than anything near my home.

Dont let the simple allure of this corner bbq stand fool you. Excellent and super friendly service! The pulled pork is very tender and flavorful. A must try for anyone passing by!

We tried Donnie’s for the first time today. We purchased a rack of ribs and some vinegar slaw. The ribs were delicious, pork normally makes me queasy but I love it. This did not. The ribs were not greasy at all and had a delicious flavor. The sauces were delicious as well. We will definitely be back.

Very kind owner; really cheap price; plenty of food. I gave it 4 stars because it wasn’t the best barbecue that I have had. I am very picky though, so it may just be me. They only take CASH ONLY currently. Just a heads up! They accommodated me with a full meal even though I didn’t have the full amount of cash on me. That says a lot about their character! Just drove 24 minutes one way to try this place out. Google says they are open today. I get here and it’s closed. I call – no answer.
0/10 currently but I’ll come and check if they are open the next time they claim they are – and hopefully have food good enough to make up for this issue and bump the review up to 5 stars. Can’t wait to try it out!
Managing hours on Google when you’re going to be closed is a very basic thing to stay on top of. It can prevent 40+ minutes of driving for some people.
I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume this was caused by an emergency.
