Great diner!
From the moment I walked in, I was glad to dine here. The owner answered my questions about the menu and made an excellent breakfast for me. Even the coffee, which was regular black coffee, was impressive. There were plenty of cream cups in a little bowl on the table, and the waffle, eggs, and hamburger were, to borrow a Zig Ziglar phrase, better than good.
I will say the service is good and everyone is working hard.
Everything i have tried is fine, basic and overall not memorable in any way.
The hash browns I had this trip had a taste of whatever was cooked on the flat top just before.
The pricing is set high for something that is only acceptable. A scramble w/diced ham, hash browns and coffee (no toast) was $22.14.
If they make a few changes and rethink the pricing a little it could be a great place.
My food was better.
Too much to eat it all, eggs were cooked to perfection.
Biscuits and Gravy was good, but I waited to long to eat it and it got cold.
Loved the decor.
Excellent food. I got the Denver omelette.
Wonderful service.

Mariah, our waitress, was knowledgeable about gluten and the small changes I had to order. I like that the bread-part that is standard with breakfasts was changeable to fruit – which was freshly cut and very good. So commonly, gluten free diners just go without, or give their “biscuit” (whatever) to someone else.
Btw, my husband says the gluten biscuit was very good.
DO stop here for breakfast if “homey” suits you.
