This was our first time and it will be our last time. The buffet was clean. However the food looked and tasted old. Most of the food was cold. All chicken dishes besides pepper steak and 3 seafood dishes. I would rate it 5/10. The buffet in Beechgrove is way better and more selections.

We LOVE Chinese restaurants. We have been to many Chinese restaurants from other states. This is the best Chinese restaurant. Always fresh, clean, never taste like it’s been sitting for hours on the bar. Always on top of refilling everything. American salad bar is one of the biggest even compared to Golden Corrals and everything looks like it was picked minutes before. Highly Highly recommend!!!!

I’m biased towards buffets so I gave it 3 stars. Certainly not great unless you want 100 ways to eat chicken. Most dishes had much more vegetables then meat. I think there was one choice with beef and one with pork. The rest was chicken or some type of seafood. And some of the seafood was probably made with the same “seafood” product used to made fish balls. The fried fish fillets were a bit greasy but good. Nice looking salad bar. Skip all the soup. No ice cream, but did have some desserts.
Restroom was clean, but i could only get lukewarm water from the faucet.
$13.99 for lunch, plus drinks, seems little overpriced for the food.

Stop by here on occasion when passing through. Food is consistently tasty…pretty good variety. I especially enjoy the walnut chicken and the pepper steak is always good. Heavy on chicken dishes, with several interesting “seafood” selections. Wait staff is pretty good…the owner/manager who often works the cash register isn’t always the most friendly. Price is alright…maybe a bit more pricy than comparable places. Overall a decent place… I continue to go go back despite the somewhat inflated price and kinda unappreciative attitude of the owner/manager. It always kinda bothers me when a restaurant has boxes of stock lined-up in the hallways next to the restroom, too.

Dongs is the place you drive by and never go into. But trust me when I say you are missing out. This buffet is a small gem, foods always hot and the food is actually good for the price point. Its not over the top. Typical dated/cheap restaurant but worth the money and definitely has great food.

They have the best freshest salad bar that I have ever been to. You will never be disappointed. The rest of their food is very good but not quite 5 Star. We eat there on a regular basis. Me mainly for the salad bar but my husband loves all of it. Service is great and it’s one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ate at. The price is like all restaurants, having to raise prices because of the costs of food.

I’ve been in Indiana 21 years and this is the first Chinese Buffet I’ve truly enjoyed! Everything was hot and fresh every time I have been in (we just found it in the last year). The teriyaki chicken (on a stick) is generous, tender, and not stringy or tough like other buffets. The only reason I gave only 4 stars on atmosphere was because they are SO efficient at cleaning tables and picking up plates that I sometimes feel rushed to hurry and leave and I prefer to relax when dining out.
