Food was extremely greasy and my salmon roll looked like a toddler put it together. This place is easily $5 more per roll than some of the other options in town and half the flavor.

Went with the fam. We had a great time, everything was so good, we had to come back again. My favorite was the salmon skin roll the flavor was outstanding. We had a great time. Brandy gave us excellent service.

Food was delicious we ordered teriyaki chicken with dumplings hand roll spicy tuna, Hawaiian roll and muscles. Everything was perfect! From the food to the music playing setting the chill mood to quick service. chef was awesome and gave us a complimentary plate of sushi.

I went here with my niece. It was her first time trying certain foods so we really enjoyed our experience. We went at lunchtime, around 1 pm, but it was quite busy. The service was great but a little slower than normal, simply because they were busy. The chef gave us a house sushi roll on the house which was completely unexpected but greatly appreciated. We left full and happy. The lunch menu was a great way to try a little bit of everything too. Highly recommend the deep fried cheesecake for dessert!

Quick service, great food, and very nice people. We don’t get out to dine much cause it’s way expensive to even exist these days, but we wanted to treat ourselves this month, so we went out on a lunch date. For just the 2 of us, it was a hundo with tip. Worth it? Ya, I think so. Went on a Wednesday at 3 in the afternoon. Only 1 other person was there at that time, so we got in and out within 30 min. Maybe affordable for some people but we like to take these moments as a “special treat”.

1st time here was great. The food was well worth a little wait for to go orders to process. The eel was exceptionally fresh tasting. The tempura, which I normally don’t eat, was excellently light battered and tasty. The surprise house roll is excellent. Fresh Wasabi is on the menu! Some R&B came on near the end of our meal to create a nice vibe. We wish Dong Hae Sushi all the best and success!

We absolutely love going here to eat. It is a favorite for a quick lunch meet-up with friends, or a special birthday night out for the family. We still love to go eat there even though we have moved 45 minutes away. We’ll keep going back because of the quality of the food.

Food is always top quality, eye appealing and extremely appetizing. I have tried a lot on the menu–and everything was OVER THE TOP– DELICIOUS!!!! Give it 10 stars…you need to try this place!!!

Every time I am in town, I try to eat at this wonderful Sushi restaurant. They have something for everyone, and they have a huge selection of rolls, cooked hot Japanese food, lots of appetizers, and great service! The Teriyaki chicken has a delicious, charred flavor and the best sauce. Everything is always cooked perfectly and the sushi is very fresh. The portions are very good size. I think this is a Hidden Gem in Lompoc, and if you are looking for great sushi, try it out!
