Spicy Peach
I’m Japanese and usually spend half the year in the U.S. and the other half in Japan. This time, I have to stay in the U.S. for over a year, and I’ve honestly been feeling homesick almost every day. But after eating the tempura bowl here, my homesickness eased a little.

We often go out for sushi or try other Japanese restaurants. Sushi is usually okay, but when it comes to other Japanese food, the only place we’ve consistently liked is Kizuki Ramen—and even there, only the ramen and karaage stand out. It’s been hard to find a place where you can enjoy a variety of authentic Japanese dishes at a reasonable price and with great quality.

So my husband and I were genuinely impressed and touched to find this restaurant. After a really disappointing experience at a late-night Japanese restaurant near Bellevue recently, discovering this place made us so happy. We’ll definitely be coming back!

4.5/5. The prices here are reasonable and good for the area. There is a tap-to-order screen upon entry and the service is decently quick, but you do need to bus your table. The food and its presentation are both great. Must pay extra for sauces (;_;). I do believe that the katsu is a better deal than the chirashi as the portions do not feel filling for the latter. Overall, great spot and I hope to see it expand to even more locations!

Small but clean space. Great comfort food.

Ordered online once 30 minutes before opening on their website – it was ready for pickup right at opening. And the food was so fresh and not soggy too!

This is THE BEST katsu place in Seattle! Just wish it came with something other than only rice as default.

The restaurant is small with simple decor, but it has a strong Japanese atmosphere. The dishes are well presented, the prices are reasonable, and everything tastes excellent.

Food is good, flavorful & taste excellent just the way it supposed to with no doubt.

But when it comes to the portion , they failed miserably.
You will get shocked twice here.

First shock is when they tell you the price.

Second shock is when they give you your meal. You realize how tiny it is.

It is so small , that is a snack size.

It is so tiny that it can not be considered a meal.

It is so little. They must have measured it for small Japanese people size. Their portions is good only for 70 LB person. Not good for healthy regular 175LB American person.
Opposite to what Donbury means ( Large Bowl )

Not only the portion is so tiny. Just a few bites, and it is already finished., but the price is so high.

There is plenty of food around.

The only explanation is extreme greed from the owners. They want to charge their customers the max , and serve their customers the least amount.
And owners being miser& cheap toward their customers.

So after you ate this little tasty snack, you realize you are still hungry, just like when you walked in, and paid that awful very high price.

Customers don’t mind paying as long they are getting the value for what they paying for. Not being ripped off.

Then when you start looking around why the food here is outrageously expensive, you realize the place is not really well maintained.

The restroom is dirty, the light is almost burned out that barely you can see inside the restroom.

The seating lounge is ignored & not cleaned regularly

The water dispenser is not cleaned & looks gross. And the tube supplying water is filthy dirty almost changed color to black . Full of Bacteria & germs.

Then come to the service.
Because workers here don’t get paid good enough
They are getting paid very little money here compared to the volume of food they produce . Owner is exploiting his employees. Make them work hard, pay them little money ( awful)

There is no service. You pay , and pick up your food that’s about it.

It is designed for take out mainly.

If dining in, then you serve your self.

I highly don’t recommend this place.

Please go visit Tokyo stop Teriyaki in Bellevue

It is a ripoff prices place. Plus owner is not good to his employees.

Had the katsu special, was tasty and filling, but I could’ve used a few extra slices of pork. Still worth the trip, I’ll be back to try their other dishes

First time at this strip mall restaurant.

Ordered at the front counter. My family ordered tonkatsu, poke, and a chirashi bowl. Food came out pretty quickly. Reasonable. portion size for the price. No side dishes came with our orders, just the main entree and rice. Fish was fine but nothing remarkable.

I could see this place getting busy. Seating for maybe like 30 people.

One of the best places to get chirashi bowl in the Seattle area. The fish are high quality and varied (including eel) and the rice is seasoned well.

There is not much service here, as you order at the counter and are expected to bus your table, but the staff will bring out the food to your table.

Haven’t been to this branch, but it didn’t disappoint. The pricing wasn’t bad for the amount of food we got and the sushi quality was great. Definitely worth visiting if you’re nearby. Can’t beat the prices and quality here . They have other options if fish isn’t your thing.

A great spot for a quick meal! The seared salmon is my favorite. You don’t get that much salmon but it’s very tasty. I love the little dab of yuzu kosho and their special house soy sauce. Can get busy during lunchtime but tables open up pretty quickly if you dine in.
