So disappointed with this franchise. I used to love Donatos growing up in Indianapolis. They served my favorite pizza and were well worth the extra money. Don’t know what happened but now the pizza quality is garbage, the service is horrendous, and the store is a disaster. I gave them a second chance tonight. Ordered door dash. Got a call from my driver telling me they “never received my order” and had already closed the store. Asked the driver to hand the phone to the manager and she said “store closes at 10”. I said “well your order was accepted well before 10”. She says “I was told we can close the store if we don’t have any orders by 9:45”. I told her my order was placed well before then. She says too bad for you.
My favorite pizza place has become a joke. Do not support this franchise unless the owner sells. I really want to support this business, but enough is enough.

This was the first time ordering in years. I used to love this pizza and sandwiches. However, last time we ordered from the store, my nearly 90 year old grandpa insisted on completing the order. He thought he left a tip when he paid online. After delivery, I received a scathing phone call from the delivery driver cussing me out because there was no tip given. I was very concerned because he knew where we lived and he was very threatening. Now, years later, I assume that person no longer works there. I am removing from major surgery. This was the first time I was allowed solid food in weeks. I was so excited to eat pizza and wanted to order one of my old favorites. I was so hungry. The order was promised around 5. It didn’t arrive until nearly 6, but no big deal – really. I was just so excited! But then I opened the box. The pizza was burnt black all the way through. It looked like it had been dropped and scraped off the floor. There was no cheese on it. Despite being burnt, it was a soggy, mushy mess that I could not even try to eat. I called the store. The manager said they would resend the order. They did not. I went to bed with no food to eat. I had initially ordered around 4:00, by 8:00 I had waited 4 hours. It was too late to order more food and I had missed my chance to eat without interfering with my next round of meds. I did not have other food in the house to eat, I had not yet gone food shopping after being sick. Completely disappointed, still hungry, never trying Donatos – at least not from the Carmel location on Range Line Road.

Gave this place 3 chances and they blew it every time. First time, they forgot part of our order. We called them to try and get it resolved but no one working seemed to be able to help. So they said they’d have the manager call. I never received a call.
Second time, the food was 3 hours late and may well have been thrown in the snow it was so cold. Again, the manager was supposed to call. Again, I never received a call back.
Third time was on time, but both of our pizzas had clearly been dropped.
Save your money and go somewhere else.

Got the meatball pizza and it is absolutely delicious. Meatballs are very good and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Strongly recommend trying this pizza.

I ordered pizza last night from this store. I asked for delivery. Only received an email stating my pizza was on its way and would arrive at 9:40pm. Pizza never came. I called multiple times. No answer. Called again and they closed the store. I would like my money back.

The Hot Chicken pizza at this location was not even close to the Georgetown location goodness. Missing the pickles & the ranch drizzle was disappointing but then the limited amount of chicken was upsetting.

Oh my… where do I even start? My experience at the Donatos located at 1311 S Rangeline Rd, Carmel, IN 46032, was truly something else. To begin with, my order was completely wrong, and the woman working the counter was causing a scene. She was openly bad-mouthing another customer who was nothing but polite and respectful. It’s shocking to see this establishment going downhill because of one person’s behavior.
The woman at the counter clearly needs to be retrained. If she doesn’t like her job or the environment, she should do herself, her coworkers, and the customers who spend their hard-earned money here a favor and step away. The pizza I received was incorrect, and the rude remarks she made about another customer while serving me were absolutely unacceptable. It felt like nothing could help improve her attitude.
This was easily one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Donatos, both in terms of food and customer service. I sincerely hope this is not the standard this location is setting. Management, please address these issues with poor food quality and unprofessional behavior. I’d like to hope for a better experience if I ever decide to return to this location.

I don’t know why I keep coming to this location. I have never had any issues with any other Donatos. This time the pizza was burnt on the outside and there was hardly any cheese on the pizza.
The pizza here is ALWAYS burnt. You know when you turn the oven up too high and the outside cooks faster than the inside? That’s exactly the pizza here all 3 times. Loooove the breadsticks & cheese sauce though.

On 5/20/23 I had the best experience at this location. There was a young lady by the name Tanae worked the register and she was so sweet and helpful. I walked to the location and had a long walk back home so it was refreshing to cool off in the lobby while waiting on my pizza (although it was a short wait time ;)) My pizza was SO delectable and that simple yet kind experience made my Saturday so much peaceful! I accidentally lost my receipt, otherwise I would have filled out a survey

We tried Donato’s new Bakery Crust pizza today for the first time. Parental Warning! DO NOT go with this option. The pizza crust was drier than a Nabisco saltine cracker. Totally had zero flavor and likely tasted more like the cardboard box the pizza came in. Total failure and was in no way comparable in quality to any thicker crust pizza Donato’s was trying to emulate. Warning #2…, you are limited to 3 toppings. Donato’s app warns you that adding any more than 3 toppings will result in a “soggy” pizza. A wide open fire hose wouldn’t render the saltine like crust even remotely moist. Don’t even get me started on the marinara sauce they smeared on my pizza pie. It reminded me of the Easy Bake Oven sauce my daughter used to make when she was 5. Maybe the worst ever? Two pizza’s and a waste of $34. Buyer beware indeed!
