I got a thin crust pepperoni. Found it to be over done, black on the edge and some of the pepperoni dry and crisp. Perhaps a thicker crust would have been a better choice. The place was clean but, I found it too chilly inside to eat there.

10 of 10!!! I miss Donato’s sooo much!!! Been like 15 years since we had one in Maumee OH. I was passing through and ran in like a kid. My only mistake was I didn’t order 6. The perfect crust!!!

Good pizza with great flavour-
Visited from Michigan and honestly was pleasantly surprised. The Mariachi beef pizza had a light crust, with the sauce and meat being rich in flavour. Portions were decent and the pizza overall, though rich and cheesy, felt light. No overwhelming grease/oily residue either.
I’d recommend a visit!

First off Donato’s pizza is great no matter if you have any customer service issues.
This location is clean, and has good parking. My wife ordered pizza online to pick up from this location. When I arrived’ they had not processed my order or made anything. The manager found my order and began making my order. They didn’t have any large dough ready so I received 2 medium sized pizzas in lieu which I was happy with. The food came out great, I just had to wait a little extra.
I am not sure if it was the company process of receiving online orders, or just an employee error, but the manager was genuinely apologetic about the error.
If you’re on Elida road and you want pizza, definitely stop at Donato’s.

Received a phone call from the franchise owner who was genuinely concerned about my experience. It’s good to see businesses owners care about the success and reputation of their company.

Ordered at 8:05 to arrive at 8:45. 8:22 it left the building. At 8:51called to see where it was and the person on the phone asked me THREE times if I had the right store. That would tick anyone off I told you the first time I did. Told me multiple times it was delivered (it was not). asked if it was a duplex I said yeah but it’s not at the neighbors house I’m outside. We live five minutes away shouldn’t be over 30 minutes. every time I asked a question, placed on hold so they can call the GM. They were remaking it for delivery I declined because you didn’t “deliver” it to the right place why should I trust it? Towards the end of the call the person apologized said we’d get free cinnamon bread (didn’t want it but nice gesture) get there and Handed it to us and I said asked no cinnamon bread and the man (I assume who I spoke to) said “you were kinda rude to us we’re not giving you anything” but on the phone before I arrived I was told the GM said to. Who wouldn’t be mad? Especially when you’re trying to make the customer feel like they’re dumb I understand “apps don’t work all the time and some people pick the wrong store” there’s no need to ask me multiple times after that when I just told you I’m looking at my order.Out delivery fee and tip. Called GM no answer.

Ordered pizza for delivery, the reviews and pictures persuaded me to purchase. Was promised a certain time on delivery, took twice as long. Called the store to see what was the issue. Their excuse was that their driver felt “ Queasy”, and still took longer to arrive. Paid the driver and even added tip . Upon opening the boxes of pizza, it looked like he dropped the boxes. All the pizzas were to one side, pizza all crunched up, cheese and sauce all over the box. Called the store back to report the issue, the establishment did nothing to resolve the issue. No new pizzas or partial refund. Was left with a horrible experience. 1 star out of 5 is too good for em.

They just changed the recipe or supplier for the breadsticks because they are TERRIBLE. super oily and aromatic in a bad way. Pizza was fine. Not going back now though.
