Donatos was my favorite twenty years ago. The quality in the last five to ten years has been pretty awful. Like a person with amnesia, I forget the bad times and order a pizza from this store once a year.
This year, I paid $42 for a large single topping, an individual pizza, and an Oreo inspired dessert that I knew would be trash. Sometimes you need some trash. The price included a 15% tip and 5$ service charge.
I ordered four hours ahead for a five o’clock delivery because I wanted the food delivered at a specific time. When five o’clock rolled around, I got a link from DoorDash with delivery updates. I got to watch in real time as a DoorDash driver stopped at other restaurants to get other orders for other people. I then got to watch him stop at all the neighborhoods around me making deliveries with my order in the backseat of his car.
I got my order around 5:35. Nice guy, deserved the extra few bucks. I did not want my food delivered by DoorDash 35 minutes late. There was no mention of DoorDash when I ordered in donatos website.
Pizza was cold and average. My Oreo dessert trash had no Oreo on it and as little icing as physically possible. Using DoorDash and not being able to ensure timely and accurate delivery is the responsibility of Donatos, not the driver.

A few weeks ago I ordered a personal size Hot Honey Pizza, it did Not have the hot honey sauce on it, I also complained online no one got back to me. This is the photo of it after I started eating it noticed it tasted very bland, because there was no hot honey sauce on it.

Horrible store! Does not answer phone! Failed to deliver call ahead pizza on time, over 20 minutes late. And the pizza looks like someone shook it in the box.

The pickup times they quote are consistently incorrect. You show up 10 after the quoted time and. It’s still not ready then you get sent to the back of the line to wait another 20 minutes.
Pizza isn’t great either. Rushed and smashed to the top of the box, sauce on the outside of the box. The drive thru option the only nice thing. But I’ve had enough of these experiences ✌️

Cashier had very little interest in helping us, you could tell she didn’t know the answers and made them up as she went which tells me there is zero training and zero leadership. When we walked in we saw boxes all over the counter that someone had laying out so they could fold them to put cooked food in exposed to any and all guests that walk in. We got our drinks and quickly realized the ice machine has mold in it. So we went to our best option for a Pepsi product, Mug root beer, and it was out. We asked the cashier to swap it out and she started to tell us they didn’t have any, luckily they just had the sitting on crates behind the counter within eye sight of guests and we informed her yes you do it’s right there. So she walks off in a disgusted manor and shortly after a young man came up to exchange the syrups out. This was enough to ruin our experience before ever getting our food.

If I could give zero stars I would. I feel absolutely horrible for the few children left alone trying to handle the influx of orders that the customers NEVER EVEN RECEIVED. Waited for over an hour and a half for our orders, and we never even got them. WHERE IS A MANAGER?!? Us, as well as 15+ people were waiting for an hour plus for orders that were not only coming out wrong, but were also just never made. This is absolutely ridiculous and something needs to be done.

The pizza is good. However the ordering experience was horrible. I wasted nine plus
minutes on the phone talking to AI before I could reach a human being. AI took my whole order than couldnt complete my address despite it repeating my address correctly 3 times. Then it said repeatedly that my order needed to be switched to a delivery. I finally got through to a human being that completed my delivery order.

This is not specific to the Dublin Donatos only because I have experienced the same horrible bacon on puzzas from other Donatos locations. The bacon consistently come with large chunks of nonedible chewy fat pieces, truly the worse bacon of all the local pizza shops I visit. This was the amount of rubbery fat chunks from just a half of a large pizza.

Never have I experienced sure poor customer service at a donatos. We happen to get an extra salad we were going to pay for, mine was paid for after all my kids had given me the toppings they didn’t like and I put my lid back on it the rude front register person came back and demanded my salad because it belonged to someone else. It’s a health code violation to take back a product a customer has already touched let alone had their fingers in. He then got irate with another customer after us. Absolutely no training what so ever. Not only that there were ppl sitting in the office playing on phones not helping out and what not. Let’s do better will not return back to this location. Not to mention we will be calling cooperate and they will hear about this.

Absolute meltdown Friday night rush. Drive-thru was backed to street so went inside. 15 minutes to get to front of line to retrieve a paid for pizza that was coagulating under heat lamps. Pizza was great and crew was cordial but speed alternated between glacial and halted.
