Love, Love Love Donatos pizza, Never had any issues until recently, I get my 10 “pizza with a well done bake, the Wilmington Island location (RIP), always made it perfectly. The Waters Ave. Location has burned it twice, while I still get Donatos pizza, I just don’t get a well done bake which is unfortunate, I just put it in the oven when I get home

I have ordered several time in the past and everything was very good and the people were very professional. I tried to order today 02/23/26 and the online system wasn’t working. So I called the location on waters Ave . Just across the street from Stillwell towers where I live. I gave the order and had to repeat it several times. Although the person taking the order was nice she seemed unsure of herself. She put me on hold and someone else took over. He asked me to again repeat my order and address.i feel there is a complete lack of understanding or training . It shouldn’t be this hard to order a pizza. I’ll never try to do business with this company again. I rate the experience as a complete failure.

The salad was excellent. The pizza on the other hand what’s like toast burned around the edges. It was our first time there and that may be the way they make it and apparently a lot of people like it so this was a personal opinion, you might like it. The people working there and warm and friendly and couldn’t have been nicer.

The Wood Fired Smoked Chipotle wings were delicious! They were cooked well. We ordered the stuffed jalapeños, which would have been good if they had baked them longer like we requested. Don’t order unless you like crunchy raw jalapeños with baked cheese on top. The oven baked subs were good. I ordered The Don Italian and my husband had the Hot chicken. Staff was friendly and it didn’t take long for my order to be prepared.

My wife and I have eaten at a few Donators in Knoxvile,Tn. And have always have enjoyed our meals there.
We ate at the Donatos on waters ave last night and both of us agreed it was the best pizza we have had at any Donators restaurant.
The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was clean and well stocked.
We will definitely be returning customers

Whew as I sit stuffed
I ordered a chicken bacon salad when I tell you I haven’t had a fulfilling salad like that in a while got me with the itius and it’s lunch time everything was on point not only was the chicken tender seasoned and warm I promise I’m not coming back

There calzones are delicious. Sauce was tasty, and the crust was flaky as should be.
I’ve gotten wings at many other places, but haven’t seen them as big as the wings offered here. You can see for yourself by the photo how large they are, juicy, and there’s many flavors of course.
Restaurant was clean, bathrooms also, and staff were cleaning/sanitizing tables.
You can dine-in, order ahead, for pick up or delivery.
Added to my favorite pizza stops.

DONATOS for lunch ~ score! I love their individual pizzas. They’re very affordable and delicious. You can customize your toppings one thousand different ways and it is always perfect. I love that there is no edge crust ~ toppings edge to edge. Quick ~ easy ~ delicious!

I know of Donatos due to being from Ohio and this place is my favorite pizza chain. FFWD 15 years, now living in South Carolina I drive to Savannah Georgia once a month (sometimes more) to get this pizza. The food Is always great with edge to edge toppings although I’ve noticed some shrinkage in the past year. My go too are just a pepperoni with sausage or pepperoni with extra cheese. It seems like there’s high turnover at this location so service is what it is. I ordered a mariachi beef but got the chicken once. The atmosphere again, it’s what is as it doesn’t seem to be in a great location and the bathrooms are always locked , and not as clean. But I don’t go there for the bathroom or service .. just keep the pizza the same please
