Just like the scare crow who won the academy award, Bryan is outstanding in his field. The best take and bake pizza i ever had. The ingredients were juicy and flavorful and the crust was just right. The sauce was delicious too.
The memorabilia is tubular and the art work is gnarly.
The other memorable thing about this establishment is Bryan, I had a great time talking to him while I waited for the pizza. You’re rad dude and im glad to have met you.
Keep that pizza restocked and you see me again. COWABUNGA!

Donatello’s is a great take on the take and bake pizza genre. I would go as far as to say it’s the best take and bake spot in town, if not the best pizza spot in all of Modesto. Brian keeps prices reasonable, 20 bucks for an 16 inch pizza is hard to beat. The ingredients are all fresh, the dough and sauce are made daily, and they really know how to make these pizzas. If you get the craving for pizza, and don’t mind waiting 15-18 minutes for it to cook, get it from here.

It was my first time trying this local take-and-bake pizza shop, and everyone there was beyond kind! Even during the busy dinner rush, the owner kept apologizing for the wait and even threw in an extra salad, which was such a thoughtful touch. I’m so glad I finally took a chance on this lovely family-run business it’s the kind of warm, genuine restaurant experience I’ve been missing in Modesto. The food was great, the service was amazing, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again.

Take a seat Papa Murphy’s. Saying this is the best take n bake is an understatement. Nothing but premium ingredients freshly put together in no time. You gotta check this place out! Cool fun environment with sick artwork on the walls and really cool wrestling action figures in a display case. Can’t wait to try all the other pizzas they have to offer and I’m excited to try the chicken wings they offer.

It has been since living in San Francisco that I have had a flavorful and golden brown calzone. Bryan the Pizza Guy is a joy to talk to and puts love in each of his handmade creations. Why go to any other Take-n-Bake when you can have perfection. Fresh ingredients, plentiful topings and crispy top crust (calzone) are yours out of your own oven. Donatella Pizza should be your “goto” for homemade pizza in the Modesto Area. “Cowabunga, dude”
