WE WENT FOR HUSBAND AND SISTER IN LAW’S BIRTHDAY, WE HAD THEIR CHICKEN, WITH FRESH MOZZARELLA, COVERED WITH A CREAMY PESTO SAUCE WITH FRESH BASIL AND TOPPED WITH TOMATO. If I could rate this place 6 stars I would. The food here is absolutely tremendous. I ended up getting the chicken parmesan and it’s the best I’ve ever had. Ended up getting a side salad with it which was great too, and a good sized portion. Whenever you go, be sure to get the tiramisu. It’s probably the best dessert I’ve had in my entire life, hands down. Just be sure to order it with your meal to make sure it will be ready by the end of your meal. Atmosphere is very nice, and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. This place is a bit pricey (as to be expected), but it’s totally worth it for a celebration dinner, or for a nice date night.

Loved it! Beautiful little cozy restaurant, great food, wonderful atmosphere. Definetly try their passion peach sangria. Only flaw was they delay in bringing our food. We waited almost an hour before our food arrived but worth the wait because it was delicious. Must stop by if u are in Indiana.

Food was wonderful, our server, Emily, was the best and the tiramisu was divine! We even talked to the owner, Syb, and she was an amazing young lady. Highly recommend Donatello’s!!

Sauce could have been a little better but wasn’t bad.All in all the food was pretty good.Had one beer because waitress didn’t come back for a while, but she was very nice when she did wait on us . They did give us large portions of our meals, and prices weren’t bad

Edit since the owner asked for more details: I brought my wife here for a birthday dinner date. With two small children, we rarely get out just ourselves. They refused to sell us scallops because the “market price was way over the quality, but would give us extra shrimp”. Ok, not that big of a deal. We ordered wedding soup for an app, my wife asked the waiter if she could get a different sauce on a particular dish, I don’t remember the dish. The waiter said he’d have to ask the chef because “it interferes with quality of the chefs recipe and she doesn’t like doing that”. It took 15 minutes to “ask” and according to him, she refused to do it. My wife has a minor dairy allergy (she won’t die, but imagine getting hammered when you suffer from bad hangovers) so she wanted a sauce that wasn’t cream based since the dish had cheese in it before the sauce. We said we would just pay for our drinks and soup and head out. He never came back, I had to go to the bartender to get my bill. Additionally, we are in our early 30’s, the average age (on a Friday evening) was around 55. We could over hear the other customers being talked to by several staff members and we were basically second class. We walked down the street to Nap’s and received great food and service.
