Took 15 minutes for 3 tacos. At that paid 15 dollars for street size tacos?! At that only had beans in one and no cheese.Like what in the world!! If you’re going to charge outrageous prices at least have a full size tortilla.My hand for comparison, I have pretty small hands. Never again!!

Doña Juanita Taqueria was delicious. I had the barbacoa and lengua tacos. The barbacoa had a hint of a char on it, which was wonderful. The lengua melted in my mouth, but needed a bit of salt for my taste. (Remedied quickly with a salt packet). I thought the tacos were small until I opened the packages and they were packed with meat. More meat than tortilla. Served with a side car of creme salsa verde and cream red sauce, both which can add some flavor and kick. Filled up with two tacos and a soda. ($9.50), not including tip. I will be back if I’m in the Buda TX area again. It was surrounded by Thai and Vegan food trucks.

This taqueria is a hidden gem with authentic, fresh flavors that truly shine in every bite! Their tacos are packed with delicious fillings and the salsas have just the right kick of spice. I especially love the California Burrito. Can’t find one as good anywhere close by. Their barbacoa tacos are also incredible – tender, flavorful meat. The service is friendly and fast, making it my go-to spot for a quick and satisfying Mexican meal in Buda
